sure ! i try them and then i was like..."I take them" :). I think they fit really good, i was scared about the "no-butt effect" but it wasn't the case.

Yeah the rise is kinda high but it gives the chinos an edgy look. I'm glad you like them, well wear!

Has anyone seen the new Thavar 8qu's? or the Braddom-a 00hvw both are available on the Diesel US site and are AMAZING! I really want those braddom's but of course, every time I find a new pair I want, all they have is HUGE sizes left! lol

I have the krooley 8qu in dark beige from last season. I love em, the 3d effects makes them really cool. If you go with the braddom Jason be sure to size down. They can be quite roomy. With your style and shape my advice is go with the thavar.

I bought the brown thavar 8qu. Diesel has them listed as grey on their site for some reason but they are surely brown. I LOVE them!

Here they are:

@Jeanetic the 8qu reminds me a lot of the 880G u also have in Thavar. Maybe its just the picture

yeah its just the picture. The 880g is a deep blue indigo color with a nice sheen. The 8qu is Dark brown with no sheen.

WOW! Those 8qu's don't look brown to me at all! They look greyish blue.... Weird. Are those the same ones on diesel's site right now?

Phukette... I really want the krooley 8qu's I like the green and the navy ones the most... Relentless has them in just about every color and they look awesome! I really want the braddoms too so I'll be sure to take your advice and size down if I come across a pair.

yeah its the exact same. i ordered these from there. there is nothing grey or blue about them. all brown. they still look great though

Just to say, Asos f***ed up with my order ! They didn't sent the size i ordered, and now the 8qu isn't avaible ! I must say i'm very very very disapointed ! Sure i got a refund plus 20% on my next order, but seriously...

yeah thats not cool, the good news is 8qu is available all over, what cut size color do you want?

Jeanetic I seen you own a pair of Darron-a GPW(I personally think they look really good), they remind a bit of the 8qu, do you think i can find a pair of them online ? they seem pretty rare. Thanks in advance.

They are different than 8qu because they are thin and dont have 3d treatment

the picture doesn't look brown at all. lol.

I look it up on the site. It's nice. The only question I have is that what color of shoes and shirts fit well with dark brown pants?

Brown shoes look good. Green, red, grey, and blue shirts would look good.

Just wondering, as there a lot of nice colored chinos and colored twill 5-pocket chinos coming out for men in the fall -- brands like Silver Jeans, Paige Denim, and James Jeans -- with slimmer bodies. You might be pleasantly surprised! icon_biggrin.gif

Fit is definitely important -- maybe most important -- which is a reason you might want to stick with Diesel.

What's important to you in terms of fit (ankle opening, waist, rise, etc)?

Do you like the same fit for chinos as you do for 5-pocket denim jeans?

Definitely! icon_cool.gif

Plum, off-white, and multi-colored shirts like stripes, plaids, or even paisley would look great, too.

If you're not comfortable wearing a brightly colored or ornate top, add an adventurous tie or belt to test drive the brighter color and designs.

Well, like i said i'm open to other brands (Diesel is just my favorite, when it comes to the "5 pocket denim jeans") icon_wink.gif. Now for the cuts...i'd tend to go for the same type of cut which are mostly straight leg, low waist(viker and safado like), i also start to pay some attention to the tapered fit. The G-Star chino i bought taper a little and I like how it fits me :). May you show me some pics of the chinos from rhe brands you told me ? I'm curious. Thanks in advance Cordelia icon_wink.gif

Hey, just a little question for you Phukette, what's the frequency of what's the frequency of washes for your chinos ? and do you hand-wash them or use the machine ? because i don't want colour loss etc... on mine. By the way it's a bit off topic but I bought online a pair of "Monkee Genes" chino and they are good quality and have a nice fit if anybody here wanna try them :).
