Levi’s to Show at New York Fashion Week in February

While most brands seem to be cutting back when it comes to fashion week, Levi’s is going all out. The brand will be showing for the first time ever at New York Fashion week this February. Back in 2007, the brand presented a capsule collection but this marks the first time the brand will show from it’s full line, which will make up the first collection, in it’s entirety, that Levi’s will market internationally. Creative director Len Peltier explained the show will be “Something more interactive than just a runway show.” With the new shows we’ve see with everything from Hologram technology to lasting 24-hours, I wonder what we’ll see from Levi’s.

What do you think about Levi’s showing at Fashion Week? Other denim brands, such as G-Star, Diesel and William Rast have shown but some focus more on their non-denim items than denim, so I wonder what type of presentation we’ll be seeing from Levi’s.
