Can anyone confirm if this wash is raw denim or not?  I ordered a pair online in Larkee and havent received the yet.  Different stores seem to give contradicting descriptions of it...

It's raw but resin coated so it won't fade.

me too but ive been wearing mine for a while and they still look new, maybe you can try doing it manually.

If u wanted a pair of dark larkees that would fade, u should've gone for the 8QM. It's turbodenim and selvedge. Really nice pair.

Got them this afternoon.  LOVE them!  A friend tried to sell me this wash in koolter when i visited her at diesel store. im glad i didnt get that pair.  They smell a little funny (i'm guessing it's the resin?) but i'm sure that'll fade. I'm still going to wait a long time before washing them to see if they fade.  A friend of mine got this wash in thavar and said his were fading on the crotch and pocket, so we'll see (finger's crossed).  Here are a couple of fit pits.  i apologize for the quality. this is the only full length mirror in the office ;)

thanks for the feedback. as far as shoes goe, this is not a 'real' outfit. i got them in at work yesterday so just changed jeans :P  still have a pretty odd odor, im sure it'll go away in a week. i guess i could always go to a mexican restaurant to get rid of the smell ;)

The smell is the resin and it takes a while to go away. But of you wash them they'll lose the cool creasing.

i definately WONT be washing them anytime soon, just in case ;)  as far as creasing. ive washed my viker 8y0s and they still have the 3d bunching at the ankles. i think ive only washed them maybe twice tho...

So just want to say i was hanging up my pair of 880gs last night and what did i notice? yes! fading! so thrilled cause i wasnt expecting it! so needless to say, those who were wondering about this wash, they are raw denim. ive only had my pair for 4 weeks, and worn a lot of my other pairs inbetween. the fading i noticed so far is at the crinkled stacked ankle area. excited to see this pair evolve!

hard to get a quality image of it. u can see the top of the wrinkle has turned blue. doing raw denim w/ the 3d evolution is just genius! so excited to see these evolve!!!
