I've been a fan of Diesel jeans almost since they started. Took me awhile, but it doesn't surprise me to see a forum for fellow afficionados. I have a pretty big collection and will show some of them as I go along, but just picked these up last night on sale at Macy's. Thanaz 8QQ, original price was $275, they'd already been marked down 30%, and I had a coupon for 25% more, so net cost $144! Back in day, only a couple of upscale department stores in my town sold them, now there are six stores that I know of that carry them. Sometimes they will have similar stock, but you also get different stuff, even different than at the online or Diesel stores.

BTW, I took a tip I found here yesterday and bought up one waist size than I had in the past on Thanaz. Most of my current Diesels are 32/32, but buying a 33 waist here made them more "slouchy" in the thighs, a little loose in the waist, but will just have to wear a belt all the time with them. I am including here a picture of the oldest Diesel's I still own, circa early to mid '90's. They were called "New Trading" and were actually the second generation of Diesels with that name. They didn't come then with the inside labels with wash and style name, so I have no idea what they might be. The fit on them is kind of relaxed straight leg, they also had a style called Cochise that was a predecessor to today's skinny jeans, but alas I don't have any of them anymore.
My city and surrounding area has around a dozen Macy's stores. Only two of them sell Diesel, just started less than a year ago. They don't have huge selection, but the brand is not excluded when they have store-wide sales, which is often. Diesel is also sold here at Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, and Sak's, and one small boutique that I know of.
In the laundry now, will post up later. I also want to show some "state of the collection" photos when I get a chance to take some pics. I also have a couple of very unique older Diesel leather jackets.
Macy's inventory at each store will be different based upon the demographics and demand in the area. There are many Macy's that sell diesel, true religion, 7 for all mankind, Joes jeans, and William Rast. There are also plenty that don't sell AnY of those brands. New Orleans is a good example. There are two Macy's in the area. One sells diesel and the others and the other Macy's doesn't carry any of them.
I owned the 8pn at one point. It's very different I wish diesel would do more washes with the that style or pattern(the digital blocks on the sides were so cool). I really feel there is more that can be done with that style and they just never did try.

i agree. the digital squares on the sides were so bad ass! nice and subtle tho so it didnt come off as tacky. i dont usually like lighter washes and personally the holes on 8pn are too much for me. maybe it's the pattern? it looks so unnatural.
