So after reading a bunch of posts on the forum, I've decided to buy a pair of Nudie jeans for my first raw denim experience. I'm buying the following: Nudie 'Slim Jim' Slim Straight Leg Raw Jeans (Dry Navy Organic Wash). There seemed to be varying messages across the forum, so I'm curious. If my waist size is usually a 36-inch, should I buy 34-inch (one size down) to allow for stretching?

I got a great deal on the Thin Finn in organic Dry Ecru at Gilt Club. I was pretty happy with them but spending a good penny I was hoping I would get a great Nudie worn out look. but the crotch...

These jeans are one of my favorites, they are sort of western! I wear them when my boyfriend takes me country dancing. I will admit, they are one of the hottest jeans for any rodeo, country...

I love these jeans! I had wanted them for awhile, and decided to finally get them. The price is not bad at all considering the cost of most other premium brands. I loved the "moto" look of these...

Diesel jogg jeans are not exactly what Diesel tries to sell them as. Diesel tries to sell them as sweat pants that look like denim. The fact is they are denim that are soft like sweatpants....

Diesel really out did themselves this time. The Braddom is a regular straight leg fit that tapers down to a slimmer opening. The fit is very comfortable and the tapering really makes them...

Not sure if you already got em but, generally yes you should size down for stretching otherwise you are going to eventually have nicely worn jeans that are way too big in the waist/hip area. Take it from me I know. It is going to feel uncomfortable at first but if you wear them for long periods of time everyday for a week that feeling should pass. At first it should be quite difficult to button up.
I have tried the slim jims and thin finns they are very nice jeans :) high quality and still wear them after a years worth of wearing
Yes, size down... I'm a 30" waist and I recently picked up a pair of dry thin finn's. I've worn them for about two weeks and they're too loose. Next time I would buy an inch smaller.
Hey guys ,
I suggest you to wear your raw denims min 6 months before wash. and when washing times come , you can have a shower while your jeans are on you...it helps for getting better effects..
I strongly suggest to try Diesel Turbo Denim and Hudson Turbotech .. Diesel Turbodenim is in the stores and Hudson will be soon. These raw jeans are made from a speacial denim fabric which has rapid aging technology. so you can have 4 years worn look in 6 months. please check the photo below.. it's my Turbo jeans , back side of the knee.. I worn them 3 months and photo has been taken before wash..

No-one should buy turbodenim. The quality is terrible. They are not made from a special denim fabric with rapid aging technology, they simply have a weaker indigo dip. My turbodenims were pretty much destroyed by 3-4 months of wear and, due to the super weak indigo soak that allows them to fade faster, every wash takes away a substantial amount of the color (ie, making it hard to get contrast and instead just fading the entire denim more evenly than typical raws). I'm not sure about the quality of Hudson turbotech (probably also terrible if I had to guess), but the fit looks awful. Anyone reading this should do themselves a favor and buy real raw denim, not this overhyped "turbo" joke.

Wear those for a little longer and they'll start to look like this:
This is after 6 months of wear. These jeans are a joke.

Awesome pics! Lurkers, please post your own raw-wear photos. I am still trying to find a good raw pair in a women's cut. Do you have any recommendations for me? Any would be much appreciated. Thanks!
