Billy Jeans - microstitching - are they real?

Hi all

I just purchased some Billy Big QT jeans on ebay. I had an authenticity check done on here and the general concensus was that they were authentic, and that th seller is trusted.

However, now I have received the jeans and would like to check something that seems like it may be dodgy (from my research int owhat to look for in a fake) but I might not be correct.

I thought that all true religion jeans had the silver stitching across the bottom of the inside back label (the one wth thw horseshoe on it). This one does not look silver like the stitching seems to look in some of the pictures I have seen, though it is shiny.

Any clues anyone? I can post a picture if you like, but since these had already been authenticated by people on this site, I thought I would go ahead and see if anyone knew about what microstitching is currently on this style of true religion jeans for now.

Thanks

Noone will authenticate wihtout pictures. Microstitching for TR is not shiny though. That may be tinsel. Post pics. They may have showed a real pair on the auction and then sent you a fake pair. It happens all of the time and is called "bait and switch". Post pics to be sure.

Also, if you look at the original authentic check, the jeans pictured do not have a shiny microstitch. Is the pair pictured the exact pair you received?

Hi

Thanks for the answers. From the sound of it they are fine. For some reason I thought that there was not a pic of that exact label in the pictures I directed people to for the original Auth check. I was wrong (my bad - I think I must have looked at goodness knows how many jeans by that point, and I got confused), so from what you say, it's likely they are fine. In which case - they were a good deal.

Yes, all the fading on the photos seem to match up to the ones I was sent, so these are the jeans advertised.

Thank you very much for your help - I don't want to seem like I was questioning your auth check - I'm just a bit paranoid about fakes, so wanted to double check before I give feedback.

And apologies for my awful typing in my first post!

Many thanks

Oh - the other thing that I forgot to mention that originally had me wondering was that on the customs declaration form, the value was shown to be US$125 less that what I paid. Of course, it's up to the seller what they put on customs declaration, and I suppose it could even be the price that the wholsesalers get them for - in which case, I can understand how sellers on ebay can sell them so cheaply. I'm just being over-cautious, right? Or would anyone else think this unusual?
