There are many high quality brands out there. 
Diesel and G-star happen to be my favorites because they border on the edgy and funky looks that differ from the everyday wardrobe. 
There are many people who wouldnt want edgy or funky. 
I feel like Diesel and Gstar both have a wide range and can support more conservative consumers too.
