they look pretty nice to me.. the light wash seems a bit too destroyed for my taste though..

what are your thought on the style?

what clothes would you match the dark pair with?

Sure! I will post the fit pics once they arrived! I think the best way to wear the narrot is that you have to cuff them and wear with sport shoes

Or you can just cuff for a bit to wear with boot! Actually, I haven't figured it out yet, I just love the wash, 74M is great also, but it's too much for me, especially those patches on the back, so I end up with the 880X :P

If Narrot turn out to be weird, I would exchange for other cuts. XD let's see

No offense but I think Narrot is the most disgusting cut diesel has ever come out with. Id probably wear Zaf before I wore narrot. There is no way to make it look good, IMO.

Itsinmyjeans I agree with you man. They are not flattering in any way I can see. Plus, cropped jeans in winter? That is just the daftest fucking thing I've ever heard. But tovani I will concede that the washes are pretty super. That 880X is my favourite of them.

they get the best washes no doubt. Diesel really wants to push them. hell they even get the new selvedge turbo denim which is so stupid.

my difficulty is to find a jeans that's neither too tight (skinny jeans is not my thing) nor too baggy.. 

I guess it's my fault that i bought a pair of standard 7FAM with about 30% poly and only around 60% cotton and other stuff (interestingly no spandex at all), since it's a slim fit and the material is super soft(softer than my sweatpants), it makes my legs too slimming like a pair of chicken legs when worn with a regular tee and fall down without belt(even though it's my size).

 

my goal now is to search for a good pair of jeans that are a tad more slimming than relaxed jeans with a more rigid material (100% cotton would be good)

what do u guys think of the koolter 0884F? I like the bluey-greenish color and the distress is more graceful than forced.

Your best bet is to go with viker. Koolter is slim tapered.

Hey what is you height and weight? You do know relaxed fitting jeans look really funky on skinny guys, right? If you are slim you should rock slimmer jeans. Slim is in for sure. Slim "chicken" legs are desirable. If you have them then be thankful!

I hate the narrot. the fit is meant for rastas, i had brought the 74m cuz i loved the wash but when i wore it looked disgust so i planned to send it back

I'm around 5'6'' and 125-130ish, it's funny that you mentioned that.. i have pretty much tried on every single pair of my jeans tonight and find my favorite fitting pair is a pair of relaxed jeans from American Eagle 29/30, same as the seven relaxed fit, but they are actually a lot more slimming and actually feel like a slim fit when i sit down... Go Figure :)

 

Anyway, I might give straight cut/slim cut a try this tuesday when i go do some jeans shopping...  oh might i mentioned that the only pair of jeans i bought in store (try on and purchased) was the AE Jeans as well.. haha, maybe i should not do anymore online shopping for jeans since it's so hard to predict how it would fit.

 

Just to add one more thing, i don't mind slim fit jeans when they are hip-hugging, i just don't like it when the jeans are too tight on thighs and legs, i like a bit of room in those places.

Might I suggest safado for you? I'm not a fan of super slim jeans. Usually I wear regular straight jeans but recently I tried regular/slim straight and I think safado fits the bill just fine! Low rise, comfortable through the thigh and slim to the hem. The perfect Jean for dressing up or down.

i checked the diesel site and can't find any Safado with a wash that i would wear.. I think i will give it a chance and get the Koolter 0884F and see how they would fit..

I'm thinking i could wear it well with a pair of converse since it's tapered and some causal tee to look put together.. My hope is that they won't look too skin tight on the thighs area ,and it's tapered so it might just create the illusion of a lean triangle to make me look taller as well.. your thought on that Itsinmyjeans?

There aren't a lot of great washes in Safado right now on diesel.com but Safado is available with one of the best washes available right now, the 882b! Check those out before you order the koolter.

hmm.. they look alrite to me, though i am more keen to the wash on koolter..

btw, Does Diesel run small or big? I wear 29/30 on AE, 7FAM jeans.. should i go a size larger or get 29 as well?

Right on then brother, go with what you like icon_smile.gif umm as far as sizing goes, I'm not familiar with AE or 7fam cause I only own diesel and one pair of true religion... But diesel is vanity sized so they run bigger than the tagged waist... The inseams are pretty spot on though. I would say you could size down to a 28x30 and be safe but if you're worried about them fitting too slim maybe just stick with 29x30.

Well I personally love koolter. Koolter is slim tapered and fits between viker and safado in thigh area and tapers to a 15" opening. I do like the wash. You should go for it. Just be sure to post fit pics when they arrive. As at as sizing goes, get your best fitting pair of jeans and lay them flat on the floor. Get measuring tape. With the jeans buttoned up stretch out the waist and be sure to align the natural dip that occurs with the rest of the waistband. Measure that from end to end and multiply that number by two. Give us that number and we give you an estimate on what your waist size will be. For instance, my waist is about 30.5" around so I wear a size 28 or 29.

i just checked and found out my waist size is 32'' with a 29/30 American Eagle relaxed fit jeans. So I guess a 29 would be good?
