Darron/Tepphar 880R Fit Pics -- Opinions?

Just got these from ASOS, not sure what I think yet. The Tepphar 880R is 32/32, and the Darron is 31/32. I think the Tepphar looks bad on the back, but it might be because I should have sized 31 instead, but they were sold out at ASOS (however I can get 31s elsewhere if I wanted).

 

Tepphar 880R for $200, and Darron is $275, so I am not sure if the price difference is really worth it, though I do think the Darron 880R has a little better quality to it. I am also thinking these are somewhat similar looking to 8SV, which I already own, so maybe I'll end up returning both and saving some money.

 

Any opinions would be appreciated :)

The problem with just about all of diesel's skinny cuts tepphar/thanaz/thavar/shioner etc is that unless you get them as tight as you can wear them they tend to be a bit saggy in the ass. I think from the front the tepphar looks awesome but the darron fits you better in the back. So I would say either keep the darron or size down 1 on the the tepphar. I don't think they look too close to 8sv, that wash is definitely worth keeping.

Yeah, I guess I'm leaning towards the Darron 880R.

 

Has anyone ordered off the Diesel.com site? Does the 880R look normal or does it look as light as it does in this photo:

Well I def say keep the Darron. I have Darron 8sv and honestly I see no similarites.  Definitely keep the Darron they look so good on you. I ordered my 880r Darrons from diesels site and they were somewhere between how light diesels pic is and how dark yours is. Bad lighting on your pics may make them look darker than they are. Are these pics true to color?

I'll keep the Darrons, but I think I want to order off the Diesel site to save a little bit since it's cheaper than ASOS. I just hope they look the same, but I really love the wash! Maybe I'll size down to 30s instead.. they still seem a little loose.

After some more thought I actually think I am going to get Tepphar in 31s. I really really really like the Darron's detailing on the back, but I think the Tepphar fit a little skinnier overall, and are more tapered which works a lot better with my style. Plus I can save around $80 for the same awesome wash. I just hope the 31s aren't too tight, but I think they'll fit perfectly.

Whatsup with those those tepphars, they don't look really skinny (which is a good thing) like my tepphars......... my tepphars are like leggings

Haha well I sized up quite a bit on the Tepphars. 31s already fit me quite large because I am trying to rehab my legs, so the 32s are far from skin tight.. but I think it really makes the ass look oversized and saggy.

 

I will probably just go with the Darrons in the end.. so indecisive lol

my tepphar turbo 8y9 arent that skinny however my tepphar 8y0 and tephar 8w3 cool of coal look like leggings

both jeans look to big. the ass doesnt look right on either pair to me... i also dont think this was is anything like 8sv. lot closer to 8ne IMO

Yeah, I agree.. I think those photos are also bad because I sagged quite a bit, and the rise isn't like Thanaz and doesn't need to be sagged super low.. just wasn't used to the cut I guess.

 

I decided to go with the Darrons though. I am also rehabbing from injury, so my legs are getting bigger every day and I have tried to compensate the sizing with that as well.

hows the 880R sizing?? found a 28x30 on eBay thinking to grab it.. pricy tho, around $220+tax....  I have the tepphar 8PI and they are super tight at the stores but after stretching out they fit good..

If you arleady have a 28/30 in another Tepphar wash i think you should get them .... I also bought Tepphar 880R 28/30 from ebay for 180 euros ( really good deal in my opinion icon_razz.gif) .The fit is incredible , i really like tight jeans

880R is made from a different material than I have ever seen before. It is very stretchy, but it WONT stretch out. It is made of some material that stretches to form to you but holds its shape like elastic. In fact, the material its made with is cotton and elastin I THINK. Anyways I normally wear a 28 in Diesel but I needed a 29 in the 880R because they dont stretch out enough(though they do stretch--they hold their shape too well).

crap... so perhaps I should get a 29x30 in 880R wash eh??  I did try some tepphar 28x30, 2 days ago at Diesel store and they were TIGHT.. so tight that it felt like leggings.. my thigh and calf muscles were showing.. hahaha.

I got the darron 880r's, they look nothing like the diesel photos.  They are like 100 times better.  They are very elasticy and comfy.  You won't be disapointed.
