Maybe this is a stupid question, but how do people get real designers jeans and sell them here/ebay/online?

I'm sure I'm not the only one woundering about that right?

For example, how do many people on ebay sell brand new products for cheap prices?

Are they employees that are using their employee discounts?

I'm sure their able to get them for factory price but how and where at?

Well let me say a few things. One is that people who do know the secrets probably wont be too quick to put them out there because then they would not be able to make as much money. Too many other people would be flooding market with the same items.

Some do use employee discounts.

Some have legit boutiques.

Some buy things on sale then resell.

Some go to TJ Maxx or Marshalls.

Some people get things as gifts they dont want or  buy something that cant be returned and decide they dont want it.

If you are interested in becoming a reseller of designer denim you need to come up with a name for your business and either pay the money to become incorporated or become an LLC. Once you have your business you can begin contacting corporate offices of the denim companies you would like to "stock" and tell them you want to sell their jeans. Most companies have minimum buying requirements so you will have to have enough capital to purchase at least 3 or 4 different cuts and a decent quantity of each in a variety of sizes. If this is something you really want to do, it's not impossible, it will take some work though, good luck!

Also, every season that you do this you can keep one of each wash and cut you order for yourself icon_smile.gif that's the real bonus!

a friend of mine used to buy discounted designer shoes from online retailers and then sell them on at an inflated price, which was still lower than the shop floor prices. so it's about making an investment, and then just having the patience to wait for the profits.

You can always find jeans at resellable prices if you know where to look--no LLCs or corporate involvement necessary. Many resellers also use Ebay--but for that, you need to REALLY know your stuff about authentication, sizing, cuts that are popular, etc. I tend to prefer to have the jeans in my hands before deciding that they're worthy of resale, though.

wow, that's interesting.

looks like alot of work to do and some risk involved....

it would be nice tho if we could all got together and figured out our sizes for each other so we can order a certain number of jeans.

anyone want to join?

It would be cool but who would figure out the logistics of it? I mean we all live around the world.

If it's within the US I wouldn't mind paying for shipping.

But I guess you're right. It would be too hard to figure it out.
