Anyone???

I would definitely NOT size up in safado. Safado tends to be large in the waist. Whatever the circumference of your waist is I'd get the tag size that is 2 smaller than that if you want it slim(as safado should be) or get one smaller if you want it to not be as slim. For instance I have a 30.5inch waist and I wear a 28 in Safado if I want to wear it slim. I wear a 29 if I dont want it to be really slim.

Alrite I have a 31.5 inch waist and don't really want it to be to slim so I should order my usual size

Hey,how different are safado's frm viker???

just get your normal size then. safados are regular slim straight and vikers a regular straight. Safados are a lot better fitting for sure.

Oh 882b if only you weren't $325 icon_sad.gif hopefully it goes on sale later in the year and my size is still available.

I'm liking those 882B's as well.   The pricetag is a little steep, and until they get a 32L im not even considering them.

hi

pics of 882B posted on the "fall winter 2011" thread by myself and phukette. the jeans are TTS. the denim is rather stiff with creases at the bottom so inseam is shorter.

i wear 31 vikers and had to size up for safado's, they might be tight if you dont like em snug

Agree with Lordcrill.  I had to size up on Safado too.  I've got Viker 8E7 in 29x32 and viker-r-box 8MY in 29x32, both fit really well and are close fitting on the thighs.  Had to buy Safado 74F in 30x32 just to squeeze my legs in!  They were super tight on the thighs and took two weeks of almost constant wear before I could get upstairs in some sort of normal walking style.  I'm pretty slim, do a fair bit of cycling but my legs aren't big.  I have absolutely no idea how anyone can get into anything slimmer than Safado unless the waist is at least 4inches too big!

So I should get a 29 or 30? I wear a 29 in Safado normally and 28 when I need to size down. So if it is TTS should I get a 30 or will the 29 fit?

Well if you are like me and 5'9 140 lbs then getting into something slimmer than safados is preferable...lol...Safados are border line too loose for me. I cant wear viker at all unless I size down to 28 and even then I am not liking the fit.

Also I guess it depends on what wash you buy if you need to size down from the viker size. Since you never know how each wash will run. My 8y3 safados in size 30 fit me the same as my 8u9 safados in a 29.

I know that some washes run tighter than others but I don't see how Safado could be THAT slim on anyone! It's not that slim of a cut... to me it fits just like any of my Zathans with no bootcut. In fact, my size 29 waist Zatiny 8at fit much slimmer in the thighs than my Safado 8E7's. Itsinmyjeans I know you like your jeans slim so if I were you I would size down to a 28 in any safado's you buy. I wish I would have sized down to a 28 in the 8e7s because they fit me perfect now but im sure they will loosen up with time.

This is the same for me.  I have tried safados on multiple times and every time it's like i cant even really move.  viker is about as tight as i can get in the thigh.  when im wearing my viker's that is basically as tight as i can get. it's crazy to think people can squeeze into anything smaller! even the leg opening seems sooooooo small. anything else just doesnt feel comfortable at all. it's a shame because there are soooooooooo many cuts that are an automatic "no" for me :( i consider myself fairly muscular but am far from being a body builder or anything. 6'1 and 175lbs. i guess a lot of cuts are made for smaller framed dudes.

I'm 6'1" 201 and I can fit in Safados and Darrons.   But thats as slim as I can go.   I can go between a 29-31 inch waist depending on the cut.   The thighs are tight when I first get a new pair, I usually wear them around the house for a week or so and even sleep in them.   If you can button the waist, then don't size up, they'll break in.   If they're still tight then spray the back of your leg with some warm water and continue to wear the jeans wet, that stretches them faster if you're impatient.   I've found the Darron is easier to fit into than the Safado in the upper leg, but both fit me fine once I wear them around for a few days.

Also try the stretch models if you don't want to sit around in the house for a few days breaking them in and stay away from the resin baked ones.    I have a pair of Safado 8J1's that took a while to get broken in because of the stiff resin finish.

Yeah I guess muscular thighs prevent skinnier cuts. I have serious bird legs. I actually watch my food intake(I eat healthily in other words) because I prefer to maintain my skinny thighs so I can wear skinny jeans. Also, its not that the skinny cuts arent tight on my legs but its more that I prefer to have the jeans hugging my legs. I hate all the room provided by viker.

I have darron 8j1 in size 28 and it is my most stubborn pair. I really wouldnt have minded that wash in a 29

My brother has 29" viker and 28" safado.. 29" in safado run out of size for him (loose)

I'm thinking about getting safado 882b online, I'm wearing 31 koolter.

Should I get a 31 safado or size down?

I heard the safado 882b doesnt run big like some do. Is that true guys?

No it doesn't run big. It's also quite thick stiff denim so would be tough to stretch out so my advice is to stick to your usual size.

agree with Phukette. i hesitated between a 27 and a 28 waist, i usually wear skinnies size 28 but the former safados i had (8e7 and 8le) i had to size down 1, they were quite loose. and his advice was right.
