Before they were worn it was not noticeable, but after they were on for a while it opened up a bit. I am not sure on other pairs, though.

I kinda like how Thanaz 8880k looks but like you said (and I said before) they look really cheap and I guess they would not hold that long.

I think the 8880K Thanaz looks great in person, not sure why this comes to mind, but it looks like a "summer jean." I just picked some up at Sak's on my NY trip and will be posting wear pics later this week.

Here is a comparison of Thavar 888Q vs Thavar 888K both part of the Diesel SS12 3D Evolution Collection.

First, both are a stiffer type of denim, even more so on the 888Q.  The 888Q is NOT a comfort jean.  It looks amazing, has that 3D kind of look and shine, and the color is just amazing IMO.  It would be a great addition to my wardrobe.  However, I tried them on and they HUG your legs, which is not a problem for me, but these jeans are SO ROUGH they actually scrape you when bending your knees and taking them on and off.  They literally feel like fine sandpaper on your legs, I simply could not buy anything like that no matter how good it looks.  A real shame for me cause I love this color! If you did want them, you would probably have to size up just to fit your legs in them.  I usually take 27 or 28 in Thavars and these in 28 barely allowed me to bend my legs which caused a scraping pain on my knees.

888K on the other hand is a bit softer, doesn't scrape you like the 888Q does.  888K ran just like most Thavars do, I usually take 27 or 28 in Thavars and in 888K I would have taken a 28.  This jean feels much better than the 888K and more comfortable, it's too bad I don't really like the color!

Yes but the stiffness is not the issue- it's the fact that they actually scrape you because they're so rough.  Like I said above, it literally feels like fine sandpaper on your skin.  It can be used to exfoliate, I kid you not! A real shame for me because I love the color, but I can't imagine wearing that feeling the way they felt unless I had thermals underneath. 

Damn I saw the 888Q again today and I don't know, I might just try to use a fabric softener or figure out how to soften the inside because they just look too damn kool to give up!

Here's my safado 888R, I really like these. they are a cotton and lyocell blend with resin coating and 3D effects. This makes them really soft and light and the lyocell will make them keep their shape. Great wash, coated in the same way as the 881Z using foam dyes creating a unique effect. Top marks from me.

I will make your life easier.  Go to 5th Avenue and 54th Street on the corner, that is the Diesel 5th Ave Planet Store.  It's the newest city store, 3 floors.  That store carries every item made for Diesel US.  If you're not from NYC, hop in a cab and say 5th and 54th and they'll know exactly where to go!

 is that where I can possibly get a Thavar US 75G ?? i saw the photos you posted it looks freaking wicked sick...

^You can place an order for the 75G over the phone directly from the New York 5th Ave Diesel store. I'm in Canada as well and shipping them here wasn't an issue.

It's actually the only store you can get them from in the US! Call them to check your stock if you want (212) 755-3555 press 1 for the men's floor.  Ask for Thavar-US 75G in your size :)

My 75G's just came today, AWESOME wash! I got a pair of 8880m's as well, really impressed with those too. I'll post a pic in the other thread right away.

Sideways - saw your new jeans wow man....... So nice!!!!! How much is the 75G?? Do you guys think it's too similar to my 881W?
