How short is too short for raw denim?

I got my first pair of raw denims today (Levi 501 shrink to fit) and after the initial soak they seem a little short.  They just hit the top of my foot, they barely hit the backside of my Sperry in the back.  Are these too short, or can I get away with these until I buy a better/long pair?

Well some people are wearing their jeans rolled up a little at the ankle. That is in style. I, for one don't do it but it doesnt look bad when its done. Go to styleforums waywt discussion thread and look at some of the recent postings to get an idea of what this look will look like. Also can you post pics of the jeans on so we can say our opinions?

I mean they wont be able to stack or anything but they dont look bad. You could roll up the leg a little or wear them like that with sandals. I wanted to see a pic with shoes on though to get an idea of how they look with shoes. Ideali they should be longer bu they definitely dont look bad enough to warrant not wearing them.(atleast from this angle)
