Yeah, I wouldn't risk it. Looks like a really unprofessional website, which is never a good sign.

QUIT TALKING ABOUT THINGS YOU DONT KNOW ABOUT!!!! Newyorkspeed.com is a legit seller of authentic items. You can buy things from him off ebay if it would make you feel more comfortable. I have bought plenty of things from him. His ebay name is hollywoofashion (which is short for his store name of "Hollywood Fashion 4 All"

here is the link to his site: http://clothing.shop.ebay.com/Mens-Clothing-/1059/i.html?_catref=1&_fln=1&_ipg=50&_ssn=hollywoofashion&_trksid=p3911.c0.m282

and for everyone who likes to talk out their butt. just stop. you hurt legit businesses.

Neither I nor the other guy said he was a fraud... only that the website looked suspicious, which is a matter of opinion.

The website does not look suspicious. It looks fine. In fact it looks better than the websites that show nothing but stock pics because atleast with his website, you can tell he is taking pics of items that he has. With most websites they just have stock picks and you dont know if they stole them from somewhere or what. He has everything set out on his manequins and he takes pics. So Im not sure how that could be misconstrued as suspicious

And now the website is down. SO legit, /s/

Lol. Im not sure! But I would recommend buy directly from Asos, Ssense or Diesel Store :P

IT IS A LEGIT SITE, OR WAS, HES AN EBAY SELLER, BAUGHT A FEW JEANS FROM HIM ON EBAY

Oh wow his website went down for a minute. If that were an indicator of a fraudulent seller then I guess Yoox, Diesel, and Revolve Clothing would all be frauds as well since they have had times when their web pages went down for a couple of hours. Think, dont just speak

There is a big difference you're completely missing here, When this site went down, the whole domain went down, off of DNS servers, when Yoox, Diesel or Revolve are being worked on, you can still get to a homepage, just not specific parts of the sites. My point is, the website looks shady and is not very well designed.

Thats fine but you are missing my point. I and other members of this forum have had experience buying from this seller. There is no question as to whether this "shady site" is legit or not. This website is an authorized retailer for Diesel among other brands. So don't bad mouth a site by saying its not legit when you have no idea what you are talking about. The guy has some good deals sometimes. You may prevent someone from getting those Diesels they wanted for a great price. Anyways most sites that look shady are waaay different than this one. THe ones to be weary of most of the time are the ones that either use stolen stock photos or the ones that use their fake jeans in their pics. This guy has authentic diesels on maniquens being modeled. The photos are obviously not stolen stock photos and they arent fakes. So just investigate further before just typing so you can have your ill-formed opinion heard. I dont mean to offend you either. I have no problem with you. I just get annoyed when people say things and really just dont know. Just dont say anything at all if you arent sure.

Bought zatiny 8ym from them. They're legit. Plus their returns are great too. Bought the zatiny 8at but decided to return it without a problem. They're also quick returning ur questions. Really recommend this seller. A +++

This isn't exactly unusual.  If they've changed servers or web hosts and have a new IP, it usually takes a couple of days for DNS servers to catch up.  If the DNS server is routing to the old IP (which now no longer directs to anything), you don't get a "we're upgrading/being worked on, etc." message. That looks to be exactly what happened here.

Do they add tax to the purchases? I ask because I got a visa gift card with some money left over for a certain jean but if it goes over that amount, I might have to use my credit.

They do not add tax unless they have to(which would be because they have a physical pressence in your state. I am pretty sure that newyorkspeed is in California. I am not sure if they have a presence in New York or not. So if you are in Cali, then you may get taxed but other than that probably not(unless they have a store in NY then you would be taxed there too.)

I've bought from newyorkspeed and they are legit.  I'm from Australia and I have no reason to believe otherwise.  They do have some good deals.  I bought my 884b's from them - they are the real deal.

Yes newyorkspeed.com is 100% totally legit. The websites prices are unreal but the site is in fact, real. Enter the code ROSS123 for an extra 5% discount.

I also ordered my 884b's from them, as well as about 6 other pairs. They are my favorite online seller by far.
