Online fitting tools for jeans, do they all suck?

Thread Starter

Hi, I was just trying to purchase a pair of jeans on line and found that the retailers 'fit chart' sucked, so then I got curious and started checking other fitting tools and sites, like zafu.com and myfit.com, etc. Question is, do they really work? Anyone actually found these useful?

Also, it apparently has people bothered since there's a facebook community focused on this:

Anyone used any of these tools? I tried, they sucked for me. Just curious about what you guys think.

I've never tried them, but I've come up with my own conversion formulae (based on the measurements of the jeans in question)...if you click on my profile page you can see the link to my site, and it's in the Measuring and Figure Type Guides :)

I agree, those never work. Something always seems to be off! In my opinion, the best way is to either know your sizing for specific brands or try them on in a store first before purchasing.
