Sorry people here always have something smart and unhelpful to say. If you want a pair of dry/raw denim that is not going to fade at all then what you want is not dry/raw denim at all. What you want is a pair of jeans that has the look but is prewashed. Your best bet is to get Diesel Viker 88Z - This looks almost exactly like raw denim except that it wont fade away on you like raw denim will. I have a huge collection of which none are G-Star so I would not be qualified to answer your questions about them. Maybe Marc can and maybe Cander49 - Not really sure if they can but its worth a try.

If you don't want it to fade buy a pair of jeans from G-star with the wash called "Brooklyn Raw". but I'm not 100% sure if they're raw or not, I think the colour is raw but its not actually raw denim? Some brands do this; they basically wash their jeans in a raw lookalike colour, but the jeans don't fade or have raw denim characteristics. Also most g-star jeans don't fade well so it doesn't really matter anyway, heres proof:

These jeans are not mine but they've been worn for 14 months, washed 2 times, worn 4 days a week, and worn by a house renovator. It's faded but its not a lot for 14 months.

I own a couple G-star jeans but they're prewashed. The arc jeans are supposed to come inside of the inseam to make a "3d" effect look. I've tried it and to be honest, I don't really like it... I'm more of a traditional jean wearer with the normal inseam, but some people like it and I've seen some people wear it around the city and it looks fantastic. The one thing that annoys me about the arc jeans are the big loose fat thighs (I suppose it's necessary to create the G-star typical "tapered" effect). If you buy the arc jeans, get an inseam longer than your current inseam length, so if you are 32x32, get a 32x34 because you need the extra length for the inseam to create this "g-star gimmick".. "the 3d effect". Love these g-star jeans:

Jail Loose Tapered in Brooklyn Raw (Arc jeans). I was thinking of purchasing this back when they had it in store. This sold for $250 AUD in the G-star Concept store, found it on ebay for $140 AUD ($150 USD). I prefer this style other than the compared Arc jeans, but its up to you. The white stitching at the back makes it look different and is great with black or white shoes.

Heres a size 28. They are sized like any other jeans. Pretty sure they won't grow in size like most raw denim (vanity sized). The thing with the Arc jeans are they have massive glutes/thighs. They'd be perfect for someone who squats all day at the gym.

3D raw isn't raw. Its a colour by G-star. Can I ask why you want raw jeans that don't fade? Kinda defeats the purpose of buying raw jeans. I went into a G-star store the other day and asked them whether 3D Raw is actually Raw denim and they just pointed at the tag saying its Raw (clueless workers), but it isn't raw. You can feel it by the fabric. Raw jeans are tough and very stiff, at first they look like a sheet of metal when laid flat, or other words think of it as a plain blue canvas. Over time the canvas changes due to fading and abrasion, and when you wash it the jeans changes colour depending on your wearing style.

If your like me and you sit on your ass all day and go to college, your jeans won't fade as fast as someone who exercises or rides their bike with their raw denim.

Pretty sure this is also a raw colour by G-star, I've seen this in the shop and wore them; they're heavy, crinkled (feels like someone forgot to iron it for 1 year) and have some blue streaks.

You should select a garment which is made from a coated fabric. You can easily understand that it is coated or not when you touch . As you said the color will stay more longer and It will not fade like the normal garments. You should take care for the washing instructions as well .
