sizing help

hi guys, im going to buy a pair of TR soon and since i don't live near any TR store so i have to buy it online. I have no idea how the sizing on the website work (28,29,30,31)? I usually wear a 31W 30L in men's size jean in other regular brand and I want to buy a boot cut TR jean. Any idea? Thanks

Get the style called Billy (bootcut for men) and get a size 29. True Religion will run 1 1/2 to 2 sizes bigger than non designer jeans(guess or levis) and will run a half to a full size bigger than other designer jeans (Rock & Republic). So I would suggest a 29 in Billy for you.

ETA: Also, you have a 30" inseam but that does not make a difference. When buying True Religions brand new you will only be able to find 34" inseams if it is a new style. If it is an older style then you may be able to get a 33" inseam but really nothing shorter. As with most all designer denim, True Religion only comes in one inseam. You will have to get them hemmed when they arrive. The only way to not have to do this is to buy them used online and get a pair that has been hemmed already. If you ever see a pair on ebay listed as New but has a shorter inseam than 33" then it is more than likely a fake. About 95% of the True Religions on ebay are disgusting fakes. Please post pictures of them here before buying to avoid buying any fakes. We can authenticate them for you. While you may not be able to tell the difference right now, other people will and you do not want to be walking around with some nasty fakes.

Thank you for the advice.BTW : i bought a pair size 30, the fit is find but it is a little bit longer so if I return and exchange for a 29 you think it will be shorter or like you said it will be the same with size 30 because they all 34" inseam. Thanks again.

It will be the exact same length. I own a lot of True Religions and I have to get them hemmed because I am only 5'9 and they are way to long for me. I wear a 28 or 29 in True Religion so that lets you know that a 29 will make no difference in length.

make sure you ask for a california hem, that way the jeans won't look like they were altered
