Diesel Fall/Winter 2011 (PICS) - Page 30

post #726 of 1176
I think that's a typo coz it looks a awful lot like the 880W. It's on my list in safado!!
post #727 of 1176

is it supposed to be 880W ? :-S

post #728 of 1176
same shit bro. actually first 2 digits are not important, like 00 or 08

I'm sorry but $325 for that wash is crazy.... I can't justify it at all. I don't see anything special about it... Diesel is really starting to piss me off with these prices, I remember when ALL washes were made in Italy, and even the crazy washes didn't usually get higher than $280.

I agree but I'm really liking the 3D washes right now. With the 882B, 881Z and 8QU, I wanna round off my a/w collection with the 880W in safado and the 8QQ in viker. Those 5 are gonna be my staples for the coming season. And once I get the idea in my head I'll always find a way to justify the price even if it is steeper than usual!! Actually adding those 5 up and I just realised that's over €1000 on 5 jeans! Yikes!

@phukette

i agree with you. once i have a new pair in my head i want it in my closet. see my purchase listing above.

to everybody : what do you think about the 73N wash ?

post #733 of 1176
Sure isn't that why we're here? Coz we have a addiction to the finest of garment makers?!! icon_wink.gif And as for the 73N, I have it in viker and it was the first of the 3D washes I bought and I still wear them a lot. It's quite a simple wash but a really rich blue and the delave effect with the stiff denim makes for a very sharp Jean. Perfect for a night out.

i have 73n in viker as well and love it. u can wear it out. to work. it is really a great go to jean.  denim is stiff and seems pretty thick to me but not sure on oz. as far as the 3d mine has pretty much disappeared by now but the highlighted fadign that was there is still visible and that's what matters most to me...

It's a technique Diesel started to use last year, which puts jeans onto some kind of leg models and distressed. A resin is applied to keep the distress looks 3d rather than a distressed pattern on a 2d surface.

thanks

BTW we are living in a 3D world, are we ? ;)

i will post fit pics in your wwjdty thread next time i wear them ;) i guess im a little different in the way i wear jeans. i like to wear the same pair of jeans for a week and then i rotate to a different pair. because of this i have have some jeans i havent worn in months. especially w/ it being summer now.

i think part of the reason is i like to build the outfit around the jean. i like to wear several different tops w/ the wash. shoes etc...
