Not true. Each has their own advantages. I don't think you can ever dress up a pair of Diesels... Sevens often look classier. Don't get me wrong, I love Diesels as much as the next guy, but I find them less practical.

Not true. i can name plenty of "dressier" diesels:

zathan 80g, zathan 83l, zathan 60f, shazor 88z, clerby 82l, onijo 88b, reslim 859, etc.

you're probably only looking at the zaf 796, or zathan 772.

Not true. i can name plenty of "dressier" diesels:

Those are a bit dressier, but Diesels are still fairly rugged. I can't see myself throwing on a pair of dress loafers to go with any of those jeans. But to each is own, right?

I do believe that seven's do have more jeans that go well with dress shoes and are less rugged.

Ass & legs look waaaaay better in the first pair of jeans (whichever they are).
To those who randomly generalise "Diesel > Seven" - depends on your body type. I personally don't care much for Diesel, the fit isn't that great on me and the washes are rather garish. PDC, Blue Cult and Sevens on the other hand...

I agree. Diesels are a hotter casual jean by far. (on guys, I don't like womens diesels at all) but they don't work with a dress shirt or a pair of good boots.

LOL, man, calm down.

Not all sevens look the same. They just have a much different look to them than Diesels. Don't get me wrong, I love Diesels. Just much more casual. Even the most boring washes are way too rugged to wear into the office sometimes. You can't wear a dress shirt with many pairs, or can you pair a nice loafer/boots with them.

As for the emo comment... well... stereotypes and genelizations do have some truth to them. the whole tapered jeans with a tight argyle sweater and converse does kind of scream teenage angst and emo. i'm sure that's not always the case, but yea... i don't see anyone out of high school/early college dressing like that. but to each his own...
