which diesels do you own?

zathan 772 and zaf 796, correct?
yea, 772s zaths and zafs, no 796 though, 832s, levans 70c or a bit, zaf 796s which i returned...

i try on a lot of them, i just never buy that many of them.
well, based on that alone, i believe that you cant really form a solid opinion on diesel jeans.

anybody near a nordstroms can own those two (which are not representative of all diesel denim).
i give a lot of them a try, but most of the time they just don't win me over. i could buy more and give extended trial periods, but i think i already have enough jeans.

Agreed. On the bright side, most aa saleswomen are super hot.

agreed . they dont look like the star academy style blond or occupation double or all the reality show style . like the blonde hair . they look more basic girl while being very cute . but not fashion in the britney , lindsay lohan style . basic georgeous womens .

have you notice theres a big difference between french quebec girls and english quebec girl . they dont have the same kind of face everything . i can know only by looking at the girl if shes english or french .

irish girl can easily be recognize from 1 miles far
thats what nice in montreal . very multicultural and georgeous womens in every culture . you got plenty of choice

i have no jeans that make my ass look good. i have this tendency to buy jeans that are too big for me and then i wear a belt to make them stay on. so effectively, my jeans don't show my ass... i need to go buy new jeans. ones that fit me. cannot wait until winter break. then i will have a car and i will be able to drive anywhere...beverly hills will be my first destination. ahahahahahah . i have CDS, car deprivation syndrome

Don't categorize me just because I don't fall into your sense of the word 'fashion'.

And if I am bland, boring, typical... whatever. To be honest, I don't really care for your style either, but that is just MO. Sometimes, just think before you post.
i wasnt taking a "jab" at you. seriously, its fine. wear what you want, and ill wear what i want.

just dont fucking call me emo. EVER
Hahaha! Can't blame you... a friend called me emo today... So I hit him... preeetty funny... but his opinion hasn't changed. Anyways, I agree, those jeans are awesome! Oh, and yeah, emo isn't wearing tight jeans; it's having lots of razor blade cuts on your arms like that weird kid I saw on the bus a few weeks ago :S ... Heh... anyways, Talk Shows, lay off him, if it works on Csirip, than why start calling him names for it? Keep it to yourself. I'm sure that we can all think up a million and one names to dis anyone's style with, but why? The problem with this board lately, is the complete lack of respect between members, in specific, respecting how others dress. If I don't like the way someone looks in a picture, I don't comment on it. It's that easy. You're just picking fights unnecessarily.

i really like that "cutting one's selff" is solely being associated with "emo" nowadways. that comment is just as ignorant as the rest of this unequivocal tripe.

Talk shows didn't call him emo, someone else did. The quotes are deceiving if you have not read the entire thread. I'll post a shot once I'm done studying for my math class.

yeah i realized it was a joke, but its just one of those things i don't think people should poke fun at unless they have some kind of first hand experience with it.

"Emo" is not short for "Emotional." "Emo" does not mean Taking Back Sunday and Dashboard Confessional, despite what MTV has lead you to believe in the last few years. "Emo" is not sidebangs, tight pants, and male vocalists who sing like little girls about their failed relationships. "Emo" is not the use of diluted, meaningless metaphors and similes such as "My arms are like pinecones," and most definitely is not the rampant use of words such as "autumn," "heart," "knife," "bleeding," "leaves," and "razorblade."

I just thought I'd clear that up after all of these "definitions" in which I have encountered an unbelievable amount of people who try to pass off their blatantly false pretenses as fact, and are slowly infecting others with their high-horse, holier-than-thou bullshit. Because honestly, with your ridiculous definitions, Beethoven, George Gershwin, and Britney Spears are/was "emo bands."

Now, onto the real definition.

In the early 90s there was a movement in the hardcore genre that came to be known as "Emotive Hardcore," spearheaded by Rites Of Spring. Harder-core-than-thou kids, who swore by Dischord Records a la Minor Threat, actually coined the term "Emo" as something of a put-down for the kids who really liked Rites Of Spring, Indian Summer and this new wave of "Emotive" Hardcore bands. That's right, "Emo" was once not something kids called themselves. The field exploded outwards from there - Level-Plane Records has always been the most famous Emo label. Acts like Yaphet Kotto, I Hate Myself, Saetia, Hot Cross, A Day In Black And White, Funeral Diner, I Would Set Myself On Fire For You, You And I, and hosts of others came in the next decade. Most emo bands have since broken up, but there's still the occasional hold-out (again, the majority of Level-Plane Records' roster has been a procession of emo acts). Like most DIY hardcore/punk of the time, a majority found its way onto vinyl and not much else. Some people consider bands like Fugazi, and later Sunny Day Real Estate, a progression of emo, but personally, I don't quite follow that philosophy.

Often, more recently, this gets intertwined with post-hardcore, and understandably so - that's nothing to make an issue of, since well shit, at least it's close.

Since the late 90s, though, bands have been emerging in the vein of Taking Back Sunday, Dashboard Confessional, and the thousands of their clones. As far as I can tell, some lazy journalist somewhere, writing an article about them, decided "Well, fuck, no one knows what emo is anyways, so I'll call these bands "emo" - sounds more appealing than bubblegum pop rock..." and the spiral continued downwards into the current amalgomation of bands MTV has told everyone is "emo."

Somehow, people decided that "emo" meant "emotional," which is obviously bullshit, as 99% of bands make music to illicit emotion, which would make "emotional" a completely all-encompassing genre from classical to opera to pop to rap.

Hope that helps.Taking Back Sunday, Senses Fail, and My Chemical Romance falls under the "horrible pop rock" genre, not the emo genre.

Rites of Spring is emo.

Yes, self-mutilation or cutting is a symptom of Borderline Personality Disorder. I have 2 friends with layers of scars on their arms from when they were teens. They weren't emo; they had other issues.

Anyway, a man gets in my cab with a sword, I figure he's a sushi chef. I see you wear pants like that, and I figure he's emo. Hate it or love it.
great, that just means you're an ignorant piece of shit.

and also, every time i see an older guy in a red sports car, i think: mid life crisis. hate it or love it, sweety.
I guess you got me, im an ignorant pos. However, somehow ive found a way to strive and be successful regardless. I'll remember not to get a gap card from you and honk twice as i pass you riding your bicycle. I'm too young for the midlife, so ill just call it my 1/4 life crisis.
i don't see how that's ignorant. stereotypes and generalizations have plenty of truth behind them, regardless of how wrong they could be when it comes to a situation by situation basis. if an assumption like that makes you ignorant, then you've pinned yourself as ignorant by thinking an "older" guy in a red sports car.
have you ever heard of biting sarcasm?

im sure you have. but you'd rather jump at the chance to argue with me. shut up, you're annoying.
