Very Unhappy about ebay transaction

I purchased some Seville Dojos from ebay seller brandnamebargains1 last Wed. I emailed them on Friday to see when they would be shipped. They told me there was a snow storm so they wouldn't be shipped until Monday. I just got an email today from ebay saying that I needed to confirm that we mutually agreed to disregard the transaction. The seller issued me a refund and told me the item was no longer available (couldn't they have figured that out before they listed it on ebay). I even used a $15 paypal coupon and am wondering if I can use it again.

This really sucks. I really wanted those Seville Dojos. So please let me know if anyone sees them in a 31.

That seller has been discussed before regarding selling fakes. So you actually have had a bit of good luck.

That is really good then. I haven't bought any fakes before and I generally check these things out before bidding, but I think I was just blinded because the picture looked good and I really wanted them.

Ditto... There was some issues raised about them selling fakes, but most of that subsided a while ago.

I stand corrected. Sorry about your luck.

So this seller can be legit? Should it be a case by case thing? I was looking at an auction of theirs before but searched here and read bad reviews. I hate being new.

I just bought some jeans from them last night. I did ALOT of research including PM to 2 forum members and several of our members have bought from them and have been very happy. I believe they are legit and they have great feedback and lots of it. I will post again when I receive my jeans. I was SUPER paranoid as well.

And one more thing is I don't like their private feedback situation.

I received an email from ebay to confirm the "mutual agreement" to cancel the transaction. The email said that the seller wanted the ebay fees refunded because of an issue of the buyer returning the item. If I agreed, then the seller would have their ebay fees refunded. Of course, I did not agree, so they should not be getting back their ebay fees (I also explained what actually happened).

The auction ended on Dec. 7 and I emailed them on Dec. 9 to see when the jeans would be shipped (the auction stated the jeans would be mailed within 48 hours of payment). They told me they had received a foot of snow so they wouldn't be mailed until Monday, Dec. 12. So I was just patiently waiting for the snow storm to end so that I could receive my jeans and then I find out that they aren't even available.
that is so shady! so they decided not to sell to you (or conveniently didn't have your jeans after the snowstorm passed) and then filed a request with ebay for fees back because YOU "decided to return the item"?

what did you buy? do they still have it for sale? fishy.

That is lame.
looks like the seller did the same thing to this buyer!

here's the feedback the seller left for a buyer:
"WATCH OUT, NOT UNDERSTANDING, SIMPLE MISTAKE, WILL GIVE YOU UNFAIR FEEDBACK"
Buyer zrose_20000hyk ( 237) Dec-06-05 17:05 Private
Reply by zrose_20000hyk: Received refund with no explaination so I was upset and confused.I contact them.

it's the 2nd one down on his feedback left for others. i am sure the seller sells authentic stuff but i would personally not buy from him in the future, after hearing about your problems, jody!

Wait, in the auction you won it says that they are Bodega Bay....Seville's & Bodega Bay's are the same? I'm so confused!

The auction title said Bodega Bay, but they were actually pics of the Seville.

I know, it is all a big confusing mess. Oh well, this pair of jeans were not meant to come my way. Twyla, the Get em posts are really quite effective. It almost makes me think I need these even though I didn' t know I needed them until about 5 minutes ago.
