Need advise -- best way to shrink stretched jeans

Just bought a Thanaz-Adidas 8IE_Stretch. But the waist is about 0.5 inch~1 inch too big. Anyone can tell me a good way to shrink it?

 

Also, the inner tag says "made in italy". However, it doesn't say "made in italy" above the microstitching. Anyone know why is that?

 

Your help will be greatly appreciated.

I think you can try to boil your jeans in 10 mins if they are unwashed and let them hang until dry

Which one will give them more shrinkage, hang dry or dryer?

I would say dryer, but the result could be same.

Hot wash then tumble dry! Works for me!

 

I was unlucky enough to get Lowky 8sv in what felt like the right size at the time but after wearing them in they are way too big! 

Trouble is now I cant exchange them! So I just put them on a hot wash and dry. They fit perfect for a while but after a couple of hours they give again :( boo!

Also, if the waist shrinks, will the length get shorten as well?

mine did, a little, because it shrinks both ways.

But I'm short so that was fine.
