From working with dudes with bigger thighs and butts Krooley looks pretty good but it really depends on the fit you are after.

In my opinion :)

 

For straight/comfort : Revick or Larkee

Loose: Gualbon

Bootcut: Zathan (zatiny is pretty popular for bootcut but the legs are quite slim. Zathan has more room in the thigh area)

Tapered: Krooley or Narrot

Slim/Skinny: Safado or Darron 8B2 looks great on my friend who has a big butt! I think Thanaz looks to tight on bigger thighs though!

I LOVE POIAK it is my all time favourite for men. Plus it is on sale at the moment in 8B2, good times! My favourite wash and jean, if only I could wear them :(

I havent tried an R BOX is the fit any different beside the double button waist? are they a little higher rise because of that?

 

I like both haha, I usually wear dark wash jeans in the winter and light wash jeans in the summer. My favorite light washes are 772 and 71j esp. 70N but mine ripped through the crotch and I have to find a replacement pair on ebays =(. For dark washes I actually really like 88z cause its so clean looking and 8iw because it has a little brown undertone which look nice when I'm wearing something that complements it. I have 5 vikers and 10 zathans, I need to buy more vikers!

I agree i've tried ever fit but keep coming back to zathan and viker, I'm hoping that since theres a big 70's revival going on in fashion flares and bootcuts will come back. They are in for women right now I hope it just trickles down to mens as well

You got it in one. Just a double button and slightly higher rise. But I think the buttons make them different, I prefer them, I think that sort of detail is what makes Diesel Jeans look expensive.

Viker R Box 8SS is my favourite wash for them. 

Agreed on 71j, looks great.

A guy with a 40" waist came into my store today and asked for Darron. They didn't look bad but I thought Zathan balanced him out alot better.

 

Is there anything in particular you find flatters a bigger waist size?

I'm a size 38" waist right now, and from what I've heard (compliment-wise) the best looking jeans on me have been Zathans and Rukys. I think with a large waist you get a bit of an awkward carrot thing going on with slimmer legs.

Good work. Thats what I thought, bootcut, draws attention away from the thigh:calf ratio... so balances better.

I don't have Lowkys for myself--I'm reselling them, hence my knowing their measurements offhand (they're not my size either, so I couldn't have tried them on). I left that part out so that I wouldn't look like I was trying to advertise my wares outside the Classifieds section, as many members do (against the rules). I personally don't wear jeans for which a Brazilian wax might be conceivably required...
