Anyone Remember the first Diesel Sneakers?

Now our memories are gonna be different, but anyone have pics or know the name of the first diesel kicks they remember? Even if they werent the first, and really early memories?  I have a specific low top sneaker in mind but i cant describe em, they were very unique but really simple.

i think i know what you're talking about. they were low cut. tongue had no padding and mine were blue and EVERYONE here had the same exact model when they came out (dallas area).  this was actually my very first diesel purchase ever and i remember shopping w/ a friend and after buying them trying them on. after opening them i was like 'fuck the shoe lace is snagged in a couple places!' i took them back to swap them out. they said they're made that way. i was like WHAT? then my friend goes 'that's just diesel' lol this was around 2001 i think.

yeah, no padding in the tongue at all. very low ankle. the toe kinda came out like a snout in a way bc it was niether round nor squared. My co worker like diesel sneakers and i told him nothing beat the first pair (or first pair that i remember). He was curious to how they looked, I was at a loss to give him a good description, and couldnt find anything on the net. Yeah i think they came out around 2000 and everyone had em. Im really trying to find an image.

i still have mine. because they were so popular i customized mine though. spray painted them black and added white spirally lines on them. i will try to post pics of them this weekend. i actually thought they were really uncomfortable. i remember on the dancefloor i hated them because of there being no pad on the tounge. funny i have some adidas on now that have a flat tongue and they dont bother me though? go figure.
