APC Petit Standard: How much do they stretch?

Just copped a pair at the APC flagship in downtown LA. Went with my diesel thanaz stretch size of 29w. I couldnt get the last button on a 28w to fasten for these.

 

As for the fit, I absolutely love them, perfectly square shaped waist / crotch area with just the right amount of leg opening that I was looking for in a pair of skinny raw denim.

 

I'm now thinking maybe I should've went with 28w to maintain the fitted look even after they've stretched.

 

How much are these going to stretch?

they stretch 2 sizes (a lot). if you already have doubts about the size you pick, those feelings will only get stronger. might as well swap them for 28's.

which area will see the most stretch for the APCs? 28s were uncomfortably tight for me, couldn't get the top button on, 29 is still tight but at least bearable.

 

[edit] when you say 2 sizes do you mean the 29's will eventually feel like 31s?

they will stretch mostly in the waist, and the thighs. even if  they were initially uncomfortably tight for you, thats okay. it will only be like that in the beginning. you can do what i did, and dip the waistband in cold water, and stretch it out

 

yes, after 6 months of wear, they will fit like they were 2 sizes.

i am wearing regular apc standard jeans. can confirm above said: will stretch 1-2 sizes. i made the experience that they also get a little bulky in the knees area. maybe b/c i sit a lot during the day.

thanks, it seems that my PS APC has stretched about 0.5 at the waist/thigh area. If it does indeed stretch by 2" I might just have to live with it.
