thavar 8AA or shioner 8AA

Similar cuts with subtle differences, please help me choose.

Which would you guys go for?

depends on what you are going for, yes they are similar-esk as far as fits. shioner is more of a modern design and thavar being more classical. i like both but i actually just ordered shioner 8aa from a diesel store should be getting them next wed. for 112$, came to around 120 altogether with shipping. it was a price i couldnt pass up so i would act fast if you choose shioner. unless you find your size online but then again i had to that way not much love with online stores for a 34 length.........

How do you mean classical vs modern? I'm assuming shioner sits higher on the waist, has a larger thigh / crotch area and a smaller leg opening than thavar / thanaz. Can anyone confirm this.

shioner and thavar are both smaller leg openings than thanaz it really depends on the wash, ive had 4 thanaz that all fit a little different even with the leg opening. classical meaning they way the jeans are designed like a classical five pocket jean then theres the shioner has sewn creases on the pockets and ofcourse you know what the waist band in the back looks like (modern styling)

Don't worry about the cut, worry about the quality of the wash now- original 8AA in Thanaz, Slammer, and Onijo were a better quality denim and had a light resin coating to them that made this wash. Later releases were cheaped-out on going for a quasi-raw denim, whereas they should have upped it to a more Dior once upon blue finish (which was ripped-off of the original Thanaz 8AA anyways)

well thanks for the feedback, i decided that since I wanted to go for the raw denim look, may as well purchase a pair of true raw denims.

 

Got myself some APC PS. Love the fit / feel.

hi everybody
i am about to buy a pair of thavar 8aa
do they stretch a lot, since they have elastin, like the 8dk, 86c, 81e and others ?
must i size down 1 ?

they have 2% elastan...i prefer thavar 8aa.....

i have a thanaz 8aa...
