Are these Diesel Jeans actually raw denim jeans?

I went to the Diesel store and they said Diesel doesn't really make raw denim they prewash them once.  Will these be like raw-denim with washing them and stuff or will the colors stay the same?

no color will fade with washes like all denim but those are not raw denim

88z are not raws and they don't fade the same way unwashed denim does.  If you like Diesel and raws, try the new Turbodenim in any of the 3 fits they make it in.  I have a pair in the Tepphar carrot fit and they are fading quite nicely.  They're basically raws coated in a treatment that makes them fade faster, which is pretty cool if you ask me.

Where do they sell the turbo fits because I searched Diesel Turbo Fit on google and could not find a place that sells them.  Is there a specific name for them?

Where are you looking?  I bought them from diesel.com overa month ago, so they've definitely been out for a little while already.

i love diesel for prewashed denim, but i wouldnt buy diesel for dry denim. even if they made one that was specifically dry/selvage. plenty of labels that have more choices and better price points for dry denim than diesel could offer.

Actually, they're $150 at ssense.  Kind of hard to beat that.  The only thing close is Nudie and they are pretty poor in quality.

i just havent seen dry diesel denim that has really thick sturdy denim. which is how most people prefer it when it comes to dry denim. i like dry denim to feel like your wearing cardboard initially. and i know diesel isnt willing to put out a pair that has initial discomfort like that. but i havent worn their recent new pairs of dry denim, so i could be wrong.

 

if the price is right, go for it. post fit pics, let us know what you think.

 

i've had my nudie rrds for over 2 years, and they've held up great. no tears, or broken hardware. but then again rrds is their best model. i wouldnt go so far as to say they're low quality. you could do worse. cheap monday, BDG or unbranded, which is made in china.
