Suggestion for Dark Wash Jeans with Clean Pockets?

Hey y'all,

 

I've been looking all over for a pair of dark, classic type jeans (for men) with clean pockets that can be dressed up to a certain extent. I'm trying to find some that are straight leg or slim straight (not too skinny), with a very dark blue wash (similar to the 7FAM blutar wash or the Diesel 8IL) and clean back pockets and clean everything. But so far fruitless--Sevens mostly tend to have some sort of design on the pockets, J Brand Kanes are perfect in every other way but don't have a very dark wash, and so on...

 

I'd be really grateful for any suggestions for something that might fit my criteria. Thanks in advance!

 

(Completely unrelatedly, would it be possible for a tailor to make the waist of jeans a tiny bit wider? By like one inch?)

Yikes sorry one last thing--Naked and Famous designs are nice too but I'm looking for something with a softish denim, not too rigid like most selvedge jeans.

A tailor wouldn't be able to widen the waist by a whole inch--that's two jean sizes. Best course of action is to size up 2 or do some crunches ;) (I'm in that boat, though--I have 30 pairs of 29s that don't fit and I'm relying on a few pairs in which I forgot to size down! But it's my fault, and I'm the one who has to lose weight because of it)

 

What waist size are you looking for?

Look for Earnest Sewn --- nice denim -- $200 price point but you can find ALOT cheaper online. Same desinger from 7 For All Mankind. Plain pockets. Nice dark denim(or light if you'd like)

^Yup, I was going to suggest Earnest Sewn. Paper Denim & Cloth also has plain-ish pockets (same guys who make Earnest Sewn--at least, they used to be)...a couple cuts of 7FAM also come without the signature squiggle, if you're trying to avoid that.

J Brand makes a raw denim whichi is nice. Also check out Diesel's clean wash. I cannot think of the type off my head but they are pretty nice, diesel quality and stylish. May be a little slim as they are "carrot" fitting.
