Im looking to get some APC PSs but Im having a lot of trouble determining the size to get.

 

I currently wear Levis 510s and they fit like this

Its my standard pants size of 28x30

 

But Id like my PSs to fit like this

What size should I order to get a fit like the above picture?

My friend just bought a pair of petit standards, and he normally has a 28 waist. He ordered the petit standards in a 26 and it was a two person job to get them on and off him...they were really snug around the ankle, and he couldn't button the waist, and he's tiny. Here's a pic of when he tried them on - http://img31.imageshack.us/img31/3559/img00020201011181352.jpg.  He ended up sending them back and getting the new cures in 28 and they fit him perfectly, so I don't know if that alters your decision at all. Maybe go with your normal waist? Hope this helps
