HELPP! MY Roth`s are too big.

Hi everyone,

 

I bought a pair of Roths online. And I thought the size 27 would be perfect on me. ..but I was wrong :(

I should have bought the 26 or the 25.

They are a new pair, I heard I could soak them in really really hot water then throw them in the dryer so I could shrink them.

But they`re brand new, would the color fade out if I did that?

You know I have done this with some pairs. They always stretch out again within one wear and I have to do the hot water thing all over again. Also it will give your jeans this crinkle look along the inseam and other areas like that. It may make them look less attractive in photos if you tried to resell. Anyways thats just my experience with it. I mean cant you exchange? Where did you purchase them? As far as the fading is concerned, most jeans will do a little fading depending on their wash. Is it an indigo color? If so then you can expect fading no matter what. So why dont you post some fit pics? I would be interested to see how they fit you. If you dont want to do that atleast put up some pics of the jeans by themselves.

Can you exchange them or send them back for a refund? R&Rs are usually true to size so at least now you know what you should get. Washing them in hot water will definitely make them fade and like the above poster said, crinkle up and just look really worn. I would try to send them back or sell them as is online.

...if so, I'd like some of what you've been smoking :p The older pairs are more tts; the new ones are almost always a size big--of course, it completely depends on the wash, so make sure you go by measurements. Also, they tend to run big in the waist compared to the hips/butt.
