Best Lighter Blue Thanaz Wash?

My brother's birthday is next month and I have been thinking about introducing him to some Diesels. He wears skinnies/slim fits so I thought thanaz would be a good cut for him, but I am not too familiar with the lighter colored washes that thanaz has.

His former favorite jeans look like: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v449/theboywiththegiantmuffin/sell%20oct/IMG_2548.jpg

And I'm trying to find a wash that is similar as possible, so far I've come up with the 72C, but I don't know if it's close.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I'd also say 73V...

No, look on the Diesel Stiching!

I've got 73v and the background of that stiching is blue.

On this pic it is white.

Thats why I would say it is not 73v

The closest in color and distressing would be 8b9 or 71B

Ok the wash of the jeans of the pictures is 8ik you can get those thanaz from the Adidas Diesel collection but those are from the first collection so i dont think you can get those jeans now.

I really like my 8kWs.  You should be able to get a pair for around $200-ish.

Ahh thanks so much for all the responses. I decided to forget about surprising him so I can make sure he's happy with his new jeans. He thinks 8KW looks promising and I was able to find one in his size. On another note.. do any of you think 8KW also looks similar to 73J? The color of blue might be slightly different, with no destruction, but otherwise it seems kinda similar looking... back pockets too.

Thanks again! icon_smile.gif

No, totally different washes (denim, texture, thickness etc.).

8kw is lighter and the denim fabrics are completely different since 8kw is stretch and its more light weight my opinion is they are more comfortable to wear . the only thing they have in common are the pockets ,the colors of the stitching are different shades hope that helps

If I didn't have either, I'd get 8KW over 73J.  The stretch in 8KW is nice, the distressing on 73J is sometimes a bit much, and 73Js are way too expensive nowadays thanks almost entirely to Zac Efron.

I'd go with 73j.. excellent wash. Or if you're willing to look at other brands I'd go with J brand Kane/Dylan in River Rock wash.
