Trying to identify distinctive Diesel jeans

Hi sorry for a boring question but i had a great pair of Diesel jeans a few years ago that i would like to try and find again. However i can't remember the model etc. however it did have some quite unique features. If you can help identify it that would be great... it had the following features:

  • Possibly was a Zathan with double belt loops (Mens)
  • Button fly, boot cut, nice light/sky blue denim color with washed effect
  • Extra zip pocket under the right pocket along the outside leg seam with a little leather tassle on zipper
  • Pocket fabric had a kind of floral pattern on it visible on the inside of the jean
  • Leg seams twisted around to back of boot
  • Colored stitching around boot seams
  • No designed in cuts or fraying of the fabric
  • Bought in Japan for around $400 i think

I think its quite an unusual and distinctive jean so any help identifying it would be appreciated. Many thanks!

I think you may be referring to the Paddom (but maybe not, as the Paddom isn't boot cut). I have a pair myself; they are a slimmer fitting tapered cut. It has a zipper pocket on the right front with a leather tassle, has the floral pattern on the inside of the pockets and the back has hidden pockets, with the right rear pocket having four metal studs on it.

This could be the wash and not the cut though; mine are a 71S. I bought them in Sweden, so maybe its something they didn't sell in the US, I'm not sure. Hope that helps. I found a pair on eBay with good pics, check it out.

Shazor?

Sounds similar to Shazor to me on all but one thing (I've sold a few Shazors on eBay recently).

Shazor is a bootcut with double belt loops, a button fly, twisted seams, floral pattern on inside, etc, but I haven't seen a pair with the extra zip pocket you mentioned.  It definitely isn't the Paddom (that one's missing the twisted seams and isn't a boot), so my guess is that it's probably some special wash of Shazor that had the zipped pocket.  Some of the older fits had zippered pockets on some washes but not others and I don't know of other Diesel bootcuts with a twisted seam.
