I am normally 28, but you said in Braddom I should totally go w/ a 27 right since they'll stretch... I did try a 888P in HK 28x30 since they dont carry 27's for some reason and they were alright, would be looser once stretched...  can you get some my size good price!?

I can't really discuss coz if jeanetic catches me he'll kick my ass. But I'm thinking of getting rid of mine but they're a 32x32. I've dropped some weight that I don't plan to put back on I'm gonna be cleaning out my closet over the next few weeks.
But I will keep my eyes peeled for a pair of 881Z in your size.

The Thavar 8QU was my first Diesel ever. Got my regular, non-Diesel size (30W) and they are too big (and so I hardly wore them and am willing to sell them cheap, make an offer). But the fact that the 8QU is my first foray into this rich, robust, enthusiastic world of Diesel, should give you an idea of how quickly my addiction took hold. The Tepphar 8W3 and the Thavar 8Y9 are the only jeans I acquired online. All the rest (including two Joggs from this season, not listed as they are not really jeans) are from Diesel on Newbury St. Boston MA. I highly recommend that store BTW, fantastic staff, selection is totally fine and varied, and did I mention the fantastic staff? The Thavar 8X2 is my most recent purchase and are subsequently my first Italian Diesel jeans. So hooked now. Thanks to @qwerk, I have a pair of Tepphar 886A coming in on Monday and Ethan at the Newbury store called me just the other day to tell me that they are holding me a yellow pair of Thavar 888P. In my size. I'm pulling out my hair, I never should have given them my phone number haha! 

 

At any rate, not sure if you guys can tell but I am plugged in at this point and super happy about it. I feel like a member of the community already and am thrilled.

I see you have a 8x2 in 29w, how does it fit? Did it stretch out after wear? Could a 28w fit you?

I honestly didn't try on any other size as these fit perfect. I like that they look almost Dior-ish so I was hunting for a longer inseam. I would most likely fit in a 28 just fine. The waist was and still is good. I have noticed some stretch in the thighs. The 888P that is being held for me are a 29X32. If I take the plunge on them I will let you know the difference in fit.

ok so i just got em like thirty minutes ago. they fit almost the same in almost every way to my 8x2. both are a 29X32.

 

differences:

 

-slightly shorter (less than an inch)

-slightly thicker

 

due to the thicker fabric, it will feel more snug than the 8x2 but they fit me basically the same. for reference, i wear my thavar just tight enough around the waist so that i don't have to wear a belt. i went with my regular size and feel good about it. i guess this really just means that i could most likely size down in my other thavars but i (and you guys) seem to like my fits just fine.

Thanks for the comparison. Nice fits in both. Your 888p looks allot like the darker one I have.

From the photo, it seems there is some room in the thigh area, maybe you can size down one?

Yeah. I wear 28w and 29w. I try to get all my jeans in 28w from now on, it's a bit tight at first in the thight but it it usually stretches after some wears. 29w is perfect, but the waist will be a bit loose after some time, not alot tho. I prefer the fitted waist so 28w it is.

 

And lenght 30L, but if there is no 30L I can also live with 32L.

sounds like my experience exactly. i could do a 28 or smaller but for whatever reason (availability, Thanaz, etc), i keep buying 29s. 

 

for what it's worth, my Tepphar 888D 28W feels looser everywhere except below the knee than any of my Thavars, 8QU 30W included.

 

nice collection btw, a lot of red, white, and green huh?
