Thanaz 8LP vs Thanaz 8SV fit?

So I fit really well in my thanaz 8SV in 30/32, with a little room at the waist, and what feels like perfect fit at the thighs.. I've been looking at an 8LP in 29/32.. would the fit be appropriate? I hear that the 8SV is a lot tighter since it's stretch, but I want to confirm..

I fit 29 in 8sv and somewhere between 27-28 on 8lp so you should be ok although the waist will be big on you. But the thighs is also tighter on 8lp than on 8sv in my opinion and 8lp doesn't stretch.

I have both of them in the same size 28x32 with the same fit. I think you should go for the same size although the 8LP will be tight at first but they will stretch to a comfortable fit after several times of wear.

I do not agree. I have both washes in 28X30, and although both are stretch jeans 8SV is true to size, when the 8LP is really loose at waist and thigh. i would compare the 8SV to the 81E black jeans for instance, and 8LP to the faded/distressed grey 8L4 or the faded light blue 8B5, two recent releases from diesel.

i have thanaz 8lp size 33x32 and 8sv size 34x32 and if I would have sized up on 8lp they would have been too big so size down 1 size.

Thanks everyone! I actually just ended up going to the D store, turns out I do want to size down on the 8LP in comparison to the 8SV and it fits perfect :)

forgive my curiosity but those washes are from former collection, how does it happen you are currently buying them in a diesel store ?

8LP has been out for 2-3 seasons in a roll since it's such a versatile wash and it's only $150 in the US. I got mine a month ago during the sale for just a bit above $100.

thanaz 8lp is still at full price stores on sale for 105 just do a phone order.

This is true! I guess I thought it was Seattle only, but I guess every Diesel joint is selling 8LP for 30% off? It's $105 + tax here in Seattle brand new.. quite a steal. Too bad I bought them used for $50 in the end xD Anyone know how much these fade over time?

8LP is loose on the waist, I normally wear 28 but only could find 29 in 8LP so I got them anyways however they require a nice belt because of the size up.
