My new Thanaz 73j w pics *NEED HELP*

Thread Starter

So I just bought a pair of thanaz 73j 29x30 and they are too tight, I can get them on but they are super constricting and yes prepare to flame me but I am going for the zac efron look.

Here are pics of the 29x30 on me:

http://www.denimblog.com/c/gallery/album/view/id/0/user_id/41361

EDIT: Here is a good shot demonstrating how tight they are, they are like skin skin tight. Which I want looser.

http://www.denimblog.com/c/gallery/image/view/id/3968/user_id/41361#3976

So I am not giving up yet, but I am not sure if i should look to get a 30x30, 31x30, or even a 32x30.

Thanks for your help, I have a pair of 8IW 30x30 safado that fit me well, just not sure how that translates into skinny thanaz's.

White iphone + you = typical

not quite sure what that means.... I have a black iPhone though, although I hope to get the 4g in white. Anyways, any comment on what I should size up to for a reasonable amount of room?

EDIT: OOOOhhh yeah in my avatar. That was my 3g that got stolen.

Fit is OK, just sag them more and wear them some time at home to stretch them out.

Zac's fit sucks, his jeans are fucking oversized and they fall down from him.

I'd say go a size or two larger in the waist if you want them looser. However, the skintight skinny jean look doesn't look bad on some people, and you're one of them.

I'm a tall, lanky guy and they look horrible on me. The only jeans I can really pull off are straight and bootcut.

As tight as those are, I'd have to disagree that those pair will break in enough to be loose like you want them. The only thing that'll really loosen up are the knees, ass, and crotch. And if you're drying them in a dryer...forget that.

I really recommend going at least a size larger, preferrably two, if you want them looser.

^ wow, we have new specialist how jeans should look, stretch etc. Do you own anything in 73J??? If not, just don't post stupid posts.

Btw. 73J wash is 100% cotton so they will stretch out almost one size. If you will wash them, they will shrink but this is only temporary and they will stretch out again. If you will size up one or even two your waist will be huuuuuuge. Just remember, Thanaz runs big in waist even sized properly.

Wow is everyone on this forum a goddamn douchebag? I was trying to give what advice I had, I'm sorry if I was a bit incorrect, but I don't dedicate my life to the research of every thread of these jeans.

Lighten up and get off your soapbox.

Edit: and if you'd read the original post he WANTS the Zac Efron look which is...BAGGY . He clearly asked about that, not the "broken-in-but-still-so-tight-it cuts-off-my-nonexistant-ballsack-zdenal_cz" look.

Yes, lots of people here are douchebags, especially when they give wrong advices.

So don't advice if you don't have any idea about cut or wash. Period.

So you just admitted Zac's jeans are oversized...which is the FUCKING LOOK that the O.P. is going for. I doubt he gives a shit about your opinion on whether or not you like Zac Efron's baggy look.

Also, are you a moderator? No? Then I don't think you have any right telling me what I can or cannot post. PERIOD.

The OP posted asking for advice/opinions and I gave mine. Just because it doesn't match yours is no reason to be an asshole. Go change your tamp or something, girly, cause you're PMS-ing awfully bad. And if you have some other underlying problem with me other than my opinion...which is no reason for you to act like some high and mighty shitbag....then you can take it up with me via PM.

Thanks.

OK, currently Mac's fit is OK now, but because jeans will stretch out, he will be close to Zac's fit. Understand?

And your opinion - size up one or two is wrong. You could know this, if you tried this cut on already. So it's not my PMS but your stupid advices what shit up this thread. Period.

Thanks.

Don't generalize! There are slim cuts that look good on lanky guys and others that do not. It's just the same as with every kind. However, bootcut looks horrible on EVERYBODY irrespective of weight & size... ;)

As regards the 73J. I don't think that you can't stay with that size since it looks quite good. You might be happier with a 30/30 though...

Mac,

How tall are you?  Just thinking first off you might want a 32 length to get more stacking- that is key with Thanaz.  Secondly, they should be sagged at least a little, not hiked up- IF you cannot do this, then go up a waist size to 30.  They will stretch out about a half size or so, but unless you really go crazy on trying to stretch them, don't expect to get a full size out of the stretch.  If you look at the Zac fugly pics, you'll notice that the center pic, which is most likely the oldest of those three, shows the best fit on him; then the other 2 show after he's worn them for awhile and they are noticably baggier- this is the level of stretch you can expect.  If you want the center pic fit, then you might want to consider staying with your current tighter pair, cause when they stretch they'll end up more like that center pic.  If you want them very baggy (not flattering IMO), then go with a bigger size and when they stretch out and don't look good on you anymore, you can sell them in the mall to one of us relatively fatter people who can fit into them better.

Have you worn the thanaz cut before?  My advice in general is that everyone has their own personal sense of style and if you know already how you like a certain cut's fit in a specific size, stick with what you're comfortable with.  Don't let me, Z, army guy, or even Zac change your personal style, because then you won't be any better than Zac Fakron

Notice he said ME..... As for the jeans, i'd use your best judgement, can you pull them down a little now so where they sag? id you can pull them down for the sag you want (with it just being tight) id say they can stretch.  if you cant even pull them down at all id size up one. i have a pair of 8ww that fits like zax pics and i can pull them all the way down (as in to the ground) with it buttoned up.... to give you some reference here.  its def a loose fit, but i wear cool diesel belts and can show off the flashy buckles so its whateva

How should Army know about Mac's size & shape... Of course, he was talking about himself. I did notice that. I don't think my post indicates any different...

So, you are the first one to be able to judge a person's measurements just from a picture...

Simply accept that you should have read my post more carefully.

Anyway, I don't know what's your problem. Army was clear enough for everybody to know that he was talking about himself and so was my post in this regard...

Now, back to topic, please!

woooooohhhh slow down babes!!!!!!

the problem is that u need a L32!!!!because of the stacking!!!

a L30 dont fit u,,,,,ure legs look not good...dont want to offend u but when u change to a L32 it will look much much better trust me.

i would not change the waist because 73j dont stretch much in waist.and when u go for a bigga size it can happen that they dont fit u as well.

i normally wear a L32 in jean but in thanaz 73j i had to take L34 because it looks much better when u can stack somethin.

(ps if someone wants to swap a 30/34 or 29/34 73j thanaz for a 31/34 thanaz 73j u can find my offer in da mall^^ )

I agree, you definitely need to go for the L32

im so wiiiisssseeee so in future call me master yoda ha ha ha

yep, that's what I said above also, and that especially goes for 73J- I went up to a 31x34 from my typical 31x32 for Thanaz 73J since the extra stacking looks much better with this particular wash.

Hey guys! Wow thanks for all the help! I was afraid I wouldn't get any replies. Please try and treat one another with respect, even if they are wrong, it goes both ways. Alright I am guessing stacking is where the jeans kind of bunch up going down your leg. So yeah I'll look for a 32L. In regards to one poster I am 5'8" and have a personal trainer at my gym right now 5 days a week. Trying to get in really good shape. He said my waist shouldn't really change much though. I think I could do a 30x32 and that might fit perfectly. I have them so hiked up in my original post because that was the only way I could get them on. SUPER TIGHT. So I don't really know of a place I can get 30x32 but I'll keep my eyes out. I do have an offer from someone with 31x32, but am afraid based on some of you guys comments that those might be too loose. But then again I cannot stress enough how tight the 29's are. I literally didn't think I could get them on till I sucked in and hiked them up. Thanks so much again guys for helping me out. Let me know if there is a better picture angle that would help.

you said size and shape, not measurements, you are a damn fool man

There's a difference in someone's general size and shape and exact measurements, and neither are rocket science.

If you're good enough you can pretty accurately size someone up by eye.

How about everyone stop trying to have a pissing contest and help the guy out and stop bitching each other out just because all of your opinions and advice don't exactly coincide with each other.

If you have an opinion or piece of advice, then you should post it and shut up. No one should be attacking anyone else over their post and I'll admit I did it, but that was because someone was an asshole to me to begin with and I was defending myself, because I don't take shit from anyone. Idk why but some of the kids on here have a big ass internet ego that needs to be knocked out of them.

I'm reporting this thread and maybe the mods can clean it up a bit.

Reported. These forums need some common courtesy rules set into place so things like this don't even have a chance to happen in the first place.

Certain members should check their "I'm better than everyone else on here" egos at the door, IMO. It's ridiculous. I still can't believe at how I was attacked for a simple post when I first got here.

Believe me, they were being pretty courteous up there actually- 2 years ago you wouldn't have made it past your second post here before being ridden out of town(website) on a rail, not to mention what would've happened to Mac.  I'm surprised we didn't see more comments here from MacTyler2 honestly

Go repost this on Jawnz and see what happens for example ;)
