^ A lot of people didn't like the new mall format (the one with the tab) so we changed it back to the old one. It can't be easier than that, everything is on the homepage of the forum

That "lot of people" stopped visiting this forum a long time ago.

 

I actually liked the "tab" mall layout. It had a hell of a lot more features than the standard forum format does. The recent change back to the old style has eliminated many prices from listings, since the price was listed differently in the tab format. The tab format was also a lot easier to browse items at a glance. The standard forum format doesn't have pictures next to items, which is one thing I liked about the tabbed mall.

 

Sure, other forums which have this standard buy/sell format are like this too (i.e., no pictures next to threads, no special "price" input box, etc.), but how does that separate this forum from any others, changing it so it's the same as everybody else?

I vote for getting the layout with the mall at a glance with the little picture and price. People don't have time to click on each and every thing to see what's going on.

also, you should be abe to view all mall items at once still w/o having to go into each sub category

A lot of people also liked the ability to delete post's. Are you also bringing that back?????

I know some people complained when the "new mall" arrived, but I personally LOVE being able to see if the item is something I'm interested in at a glance. It took me way too long today to figure out that jeans were still being sold here. And when I found them there was way too much text to read. I got bored and overwhelmed very quickly and stopped reading. It doesn't work because the mall listings were written for the format of the Mall 2.0. I agree with lpalma: how is a new person going to know there are things being sold here?
