Will people be more likely to voice their opinions now that HF has done away with the NEG button?

 

 

The NEG button made it much easier to voice your disapproval without having to post, but now that is gone will people just let their opinions go unheard or will they actually grow a pair and start speaking up?

being one of the 10 people still posting here

 

well, I have to admit sometimes negging have been a bit annoying for me

and giving disapproval without explaining is not the smartest thing

 

but I think it was a "balanced" tool

I mean, you have a positive and you should have a negative as well

 

anyway, I don't think neg was a restraint for people to post

 

 

oh, and while we are at it, I personally don't like that now you can't see who plussed either

If were are going to take this re-branding seriously lets start by getting rid of the lame "DB supporter" icon .

 

And is going to say supporter the whole time? Cuz it would be cool if it changed over time as you post similar to other forums like SUFU and JAWNZ. Like  DB Lite-member and DB Pro-member, DB Gold Member, and DB Platinum Member.

I hardly ever neg people, rather I just post and say what I'm thinking. I think it depends on what kind of a poster you are, whether or not you will refrain from commenting at all or you will voice your opinion.

 

But as Sushi said, there aren't too many regular members here anyway so I don't think the lack of a neg button will change much.

 

 

If there WAS a neg button, though, I would neg the shit out of this new forum layout.
