how to wash dark denim?

hey guys!
i need to know if there is some trick to wash dark denim to keep it as new as possible?

do you have any trick?

Not more than one hand-wash per year with woolite dark and cycle on low rpm, then hang dry. Soaking with vinegar beforehand is said to lock the color even better.
