 +1 to u

even though not suitable for my body!!

is 8B9 a stretch wash then? you recommend sizing down across the board?

Thought I was done for awhile w/ Diesel jeans, but might hafta get those
post #154 of 545
What about with thanaz 8L4? Do they run big and how do they compare to 8ww sizing?
^I'd like to know the sizing for Thanaz 8B9 as well. W26 or W27? if Im a W27 in Timmen 73H, W27 in Zatiny 8YM, W26 in Zatiny 8SV.

I wouldn't size down! Can't feel any difference to other Thanaz washes in fact... They might stretch after a while, but they are not roomier from the beginning...
mine are roomier in the thight and waist than any other 100% cotton thanaz ive ever purchased... i usually wear 29 in 100% cotton thanaz and 28 in stretch...
so if you can button them in your stretch size i would go with that size because after 2 days mine were already too big imo...

8l4 got a 28 and they are perfect... ive worn them for 2 weeks straight and they didnt stretch much

Do the 8l4 run big & how do they fit compared to 8ww
fit?
id say a little tigheter than 8ww ive heard that ran huge.. never tried though
post #162 of 545
^ I dunno about you, but I tried both, and 8L4 runs big, and stretches like a mofo. Very spandexy and kinda flimsy.

8B9 runs TTS or may be a little small.

Size down from 8L4 and stay the same with 8B9.
So zodiac does 8l4 run about the same as 8ww? 8ww runs big & is stretchy & flimsy.
^ I'd say so, I can't remember how they fit, ( i should cos i tried them on too ). you have 8B5 no ? get the same size.
I have 73j & 8ww in thanaz size 29x30. The 73j fits perfct in the waist but kinda tight in the legs & the 8ww fits big all around but the legs fit perfctly. I guess Ill just try a 29x30 in 8l4. Wish I can try em on but the nearest diesel store is 3hrs away.

^^Darnoc and others
my experience with krooley 8B9 is that such a wash stretches a lot!! i got them in my usual size in january but now they are definitively big: my advice is to size down one

They are already. Another member told me that the Diesel Store Leverkusen has them. And Cologne should, too.

Got mine last week from Diesel Nottingham, they had all sizes which is strange for a small shop.

Really nice, simple wash which is great as I'm bored with all the acid effects at the moment. I went for the 30 waist as I couldn't get the 29 buttoned up. The denim is quite rigid, but have worn them a couple of times and they haven't stretched out yet.

Best Thanaz for a long time and an absolute bargain for £100.

When I look at what is going on on HF and how everybody is trying to get his pair of 8B9s I start wondering if Diesel ever does any market research/ customer surveys about what people like or what they want to see. I mean, Thanaz 8B9 is just a great cut (that has been there for some years now) and a veeery simple, not really groundbreaking wash. Why don´t they manage to please us more often?

But then again, fashion does not seem to be something that follows what the people like but instead tries to make up something totally new and hopes that people will accept it. Just for the sake of beeing a "hip" label.
^toally agreed

but thinking about it
are acid washes really groundbreaking and totally new??
no, imo

I don't see why you guys go nuts over plan black jeans. They don't even look like jeans cause jeans are blue.
