Do Bobby's run small?

I usually wear a 26 in 7FAM, Citizens, R&R. I don't own any TR's yet, but I'm watching a pair on Ebay and the description says the waist is a 26.5? They are 99% cotton and 1% spandex. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!!

IMO Bobby's run big. I have a pair of bobbys that are size 24. and fits perfectly.
and then i have a pair of Joey's size 25 that also fits perfectly.

a lot of people say bobbys do run small though.

Bobbys generally run small, sometimes a full size, sometimes a half size, but NEVER big. Nutrageous may have a fluke of a pair.

i agree...bobbys usually run pretty small...fyi bobbys are a good choice for your first pair of tr, you'll love them!

In my experience, Bobby have generally been TTS (with the exception of one being super small!!) - You will love Bobbys - they are my favorite

maybe i did get a fluked pair. i bought it from SAKS in houston. had the last pair too. who knows. paid retail for it too.

but yeah, my first pair of true religion was Bobby too. I love itttt.

i had a pair of bobbys, and i felt they ran almost tts, they were pretty snug, but i think that was mainly because they are a slim straight leg. i think it might also depend on the wash

Weird. I tried on a pair of Bobby's at Nordys and fit into a 31 ( I am normally a 32). The Joeys I tried on in 31 were too snug. I guess I'll have to make sure to try some on again the next time I'm there to make sure I know what size to get.

I agree that bobbys usually fit a tad more snug than the joeys...

Yup, I was sooo excited got my first pair of TR Bobby's (from spongebobfan13-thanks!) and they were a little..too...tiny. My TR Joey's in the exact same size were too big..

My 25 fits me perfect! I'm usually a 24 in all SFAM, COH and R&R.... I don't think they run a whole size bigger just a half size maybe... I think you can do either 26 or 27....

I agree that they normally run snugger, and the older the pair the smaller.
I learned that one recently.....I found a OLD pair and they were one whole size smaller....the bobby's now are just tighter in my legs than joeys.

I am the same in bobbys joeys and sammys. I think bobbys are slightly smaller than joeys, but imo not enough to size up.

Does it matter between stretch and rigid bobbys? My stretch bobbys are in my joey size and initially they're tight, but they do stretch out.

I read people stay the same size in stretch and rigid joeys.. so not sure if it applies to bobbys as well.

I agree I would not size up...though they do fit more snug, I do not size up for bobby...I stay in the same size and just let them stretch out. I say stay in your normal size unless you like your jeans really loose.

I have one pair stretch bobbys, and the rest are rigid. All my bobbys are 24, except one is a 25 (rigid). I would say stay the same. Litebrite what sizre are your bobbys?

Ok, my experience is slightly different: for me, the Bobbys in the lighter washes started out REALLY snug, but I had to size DOWN for the dark pony express wash. The ones in my regular size (26) fell down without unbuttoning, but I love the way the 25s fit.

So, for me: light washes, TTS. Dark pony express: size down!

They're slightly bigger than my size 24 rigids. And I mean slightly. Are you looking for a pair....

do you know what the wash is on the pair you are watching? that has alot to do with the fit.
