Zathan 8ZT w/ Shirt and Tie

So I plan on wearing a white fitted dress shirt with my Zathan 8ZT, what color tie would you all recommend with this jean? I currently only own one (sadly) which is skinny black with this gray stripes. I'm also debating wearing nice shoes, or some real clean gray chuck-Ts (the rare kind with the tire pattern on the bottom). Any opinions?

uhm difficult to pull off denim (other than black) + tie, to start with
most of times it looks a bit silly imo
even more if you're wearing bootcut, which usually is a casual cut and difficult to dress up
and wearing chucks with a tie is a no go

but if you have to go, go with a light/mid grey tie IMO
black would be off with 8zt

teh chucks sound good if you are going for the hyper casual jeans with a tie look, a black skinny tie is the most effective tie that exists in pulling off almost any look so buy one.
