Ebay buyer refuses to pay via ebay/paypal , what to do.

So just as the title states and would like to know what harm can come out of all this. I've done this a million time but this person for some reason wants me to send him a request money invoice on paypal. I've sent him the invoice via ebay as I normally do and everything checks out but he refused to pay this way after 3 attempts. He keeps sending me all these emails from previous sellers who have done similar transactions like that's suppose to convince me. He's from Greece and his english sounds too good to be foreign and he uses slang and jargon that's very similar to someone from NY or LA. What do you guys think? He is dying to know my paypal address .

he will know your adress anyway, you can't hide it when you do business with paypal. I don't know if he wants to cheat you. Sending money requests with paypal normally is just for people who don't know how to use paypal. And what is the difference to sending a request directly with paypal? I think there's no buyer protection for the buyer, right?

Check his recent purchases and his feedback. Perhaps try to contact one of the sellers he's bought before.

That's what he keeps stressing but I just don't know why he wants a request. The whole thing doesn't sound right.
