'"The Official Sizing Super-thread"'

Alright, this is not a hate thread and I understand the best way to guarantee your size is to try them on.

However, I can't. I don't know anywhere in San Diego that carries a good selection of Thanaz.

I have lots of washes but am always skeptical when buying and end up having to pick up a second just to get it right.

So here is the question: Is there a master list that determines whether an old or current wash runs large or small?

My observations:

61E BIG
71B SMALL
71J BIG
72C BIG
72H BIG
72L TTS..........LOOSE IN LEG
73H BIG
73J TTS..........TIGHT IN LEG, WITH A LITTLE STRETCH
73V BIG
86C BIG
89W BIG
89S BIG
8A0 TTS
8AA BIG
8B1 BIG
8CA TTS..........TIGHT IN LEG
8DK BIG..........STRETCH
8EV BIG
8FC SMALL.........."FREAKY TIGHT IN THE LEG"
8GZ BIG..........TIGHT IN LEG
8IE TTS..........HAVE STRETCH BUT NOT NOTICEABLE
8IW SMALL
8JF SMALL
8KW TTS..........SIZE DOWN IF POSSIBLE
8LE TTS
8SV TTS..........TIGHT IN LEG
8TS SMALL..........STRETCHES TTS
8UX SMALL
8WW BIG
8XE SMALL
OR72Y TTS

Big = Fits +1 Size
Small = Fits -1 Size
TTS = (TRUE TO SIZE)

I have other washes and they fit "true to size". Help a brother out

8CA - tight
72L - I'd say TTS (and proly a bit on the loose side)

72H - big

8IW - rigid but almost TTS, take a lot of time to stretch, so if you want a more comfortable fit size up 1

73J - tight and not much stretchy

8A0 - TTS
8KW - TTS
8XE - small

8EV - was TTS on my first day. i have W29 that stretched out to 30-31 in few weeks, and knee starts to rip in few month.
Evil, my 86C runs small and tight...

8KW - big (and they stretch a lot; this is my experience and I should size down...).

well, the pairs I tried on were both big...
I don't have a pair, so I can't speak about stretch factor, but they definetely gave me the feeling they would have stretched as well

8DK - big (stretchy pair)
8FC - small
89W - big
OR72Y - tts (tight in the beginning but stretch out nice)

89S runs larger.

My 8B1s have stretch significantly. The denim is extremely soft and light weight. I would suggest going one size down.

My Thanaz 8ww strechted a lot so I would say size down.

I have the 61E in the Safado and it's pretty TTS. Then again, I get all my Diesel too big anyway
post #24 of 226
I disagree with 73j being TTS. My w30 went to 32 after a month or two. Definitely tighter in lower legs though.
8JF-small
8GZ-tight in leg, big waist
8TS-small stretches to TTS
