Question about Men's Billys in Raw

I just picked up a pair of Men's Billys in Raw. Does this mean that they are "raw" denim? Meaning, is this the kind of jean where you essentially "break it in" and create your own unique creases and whatnot?

If there is any more info you need to figure this out, just let me know!

That's what raw means. Not sure if this pair if an actual raw. What is the feel of the denim?

The denim is rigid and though they are a size 34, they feel much more like a size 36 or so.

Would it help to see pics of the internal tags?

Also, if these are indeed raw, is there anything special I should or should not do to "break them in"?

Will they shrink down when washed? As I mentioned, they're quite bigger than a normal 34 waist...

I would do an initial soak with just water in a tub for three hours. Then just wear them hard for a few months. I would wait as long as possible to wash them. Again, this is if they are true raws.

So how do I know if they are true raws? I've really no clue, but I'm guessing one of the style codes I posted will tell if that's the case or not?

As far as soaking them, does hot or cold water matter?
