What do you think of those Dior sneaks?

Hi,

I'm lurking on those Dior sneaks for a while now...and actually thinking to pay retail for those as they match EXACTLY the criterias i want for a sneak...not too bulky sole and overall looking, high, not too "sporty", a good mix between casual and little more classy...but gosh they're expensive!!
I tried them at a Dior store and really like them, very comfy.

The same model in low version was on sale few weeks ago, around 280€ but I'm looking for a high pair of sneaks so did not cop them...

What do you think of them? would you cop? is it reasonable to put this kind of money for a pair of sneaks? I feel guilty thinking of buying them ahahah xD

the only judge to tell if they're worth are you...
you're the only one to know how much you like them

that said
as I told you by PM, I like them
but if you're asking if it is reasonable, well, such amounts for a pair of sneakers are def NOT reasonable (and I'm referring to any pair of designer sneaker you could find in the market, from CP to W+H, from DH to Lanvin- at the end, yeah, maybe some fabric and materials are quality, but it's mainly rubber soles and all we are talking about)

for me, only choice to go with a designer sneaker is to grab them with a hard discount
I had my pair of W+H for like 130 Euros, and I still think it's just too much

...and I know this is not helping you! lol

It's just that sometimes, when I want something really bad, i tend to purchase it on an impulse...for littles prices is ok but for almost 500€ it's not. I already paid my Laderry retail (500€) because I was tired not to find it on sale in size S when it was available on several websites in others sizes from M and up, so one time I walked in a diesel store, asked for a Laderry, last one in S they had, ok done! (and this one was normally "reserved" to a guy that didn't came to pick it up so they sold it to me).

I could wait for next sale and try to cop them with a 30% discount, it will still be expensive, but a little less...

So maybe you guys can reason me ^^ and put me back in the right path ahah.

Anyway, most of the time, I don't have the patience to stalk on items waiting for them to be on sale or whatever :/ + afraid that i eventually don't manage to cop them on sale after all the time I waited for it.

I can totally see your points here, that's so annoying!

but, I think I'm born to suffer
I'ma fashion junkie, but still can't justify spending crazy sums on clothes

...and I'm def not rich, which makes all this even worst

Pretty amazing shoes, I'm sure they look way better IRL and worn.

"the only judge to tell if they're worth are you..." ~ Sushi's words of wisdom

I think I'd cop in your position tho :P

Looks like a bastardized remake of pretty much any sneaker from the height of Dior's relevancy (in terms of fashion design that is). I really, really don't feel it.

Inspired remake that is.

i really dont like those hi-top sneakers. and im not a dior shoes fan though i got one regular two years ago at 325 euro, but its too expensive, i would never buy again, since I can find some substitutes easily but with very good price in the market so why should i buy those diors.

But i have to say dior shoes look good.

PS: Sales=regrets.

@Anthony : can you explain what you said in a different way? I don't really get your point here...

@Danielysn : I would easely pass on those if I could find a similar looking pair...As I said I don't manage to find a pair of high sneaks that I like, always something I don't like on the pairs I find...so it's in a kind of desperate way that i'm ready to put this kind of money in those Dior...

@Saddock: You are really hurried to get a pair. if so, youd better not do that since the outcomes of situation like this are usually bad. I also got a pair of adidas BW ARMY CLEAN, they look like dior's pretty much, but cheaper, almost 1/5 compare with those diors. I dont know whether you like them

Hmm, not bad, not bad at all!

But for example I was looking for something else than white, I like the grey nubuck on the diors with the touch of shiny black...

But your adidas a definetely not bad! I like them!

hehhh that adidas got a brown and grey suede version, well man im not convincing you to but those haha. All my shoes are simply black/white.
but for dior, I love their low-cut sneakers but not hi-top cause my ankles dont feel good when wearing those hitops.
