Diesel = Fail

Diesel Be Stupid

I dont thinks its too bad.
It fits the whole "Be Brave"-thing very well and diesel always has been a brand for the younger-aged.
Anyways i don´t think it will have too much influence on their fashion, especially on their denim.

You found this article, thought about it and then posted a link here where others are now going to link to, read, think and possibly share.

I agree that their ad campaigns never really sway me either way. I either like what they put out or dont. They always have smart/stupid jeans IMO...

Lol

Never thought of it like that maybe there campaign does makes sense.

I want to like this campaign, but I feel like the writing is too smart to pull off the stupid. It's just alllllllmost there... but because it isn't, it's even lamer than if they did nothing at all. It's like... trying hard to make it look easy instead of making it look easy. Get me?

I think they should employ LOLcats in their next round of creative FTW.

I know what you are saying Grondie. I think the ads look a little American Eagle/A&F-like. They are like trying to push edgy but failing with the smart/stupid thing... I think they could leave out all the text and basicly call it teenage rebellion and it make more sense....

Yeah... or just Be Stupid without all of this "brand manifesto" bullshit. Creative directors need to understand that youth don't like their favorite brands making bold declarations about what they stand for on their behalf, even if it's declaring that they stand for nothing...

And even if that means soliciting user generated content because that's been done 30,000 times since last year.

yeah overall its pretty unimpressive. whoever came up with it wont be asked to do it again....BUT like I said. the only thing I look for is what washes are in the ad really. so they could just put a picture of their jeans and i would be just as happy

LOL I didnt know it was on their website.

This ad campaign is AWESOME, imo. Reflects idea of Diesel for 100%.
