Ok I let a slot here to post pictures of my Zathans r87N at some point.


Btw birdy, to improve your first post (the one with all the washes), it would be cool for each wash to link directly to the post that contains the pics.

Actually I am not sure when the 84U were made...Ben might know. I found them at a local overstock store on a rack for $6 and they had all the data tags cut out. I sold them on ebay a few days later because they fit me a tad too tight and werent really my style.

You know what, that's funny, I think I could be the one I bought your 84U on Ebay! I love them!
To my poor knowledges, I think the ZAT84U should be from the 2004 season.

hi guys who love Zathan.i haven't tried any Zathan cut.the only one pair of bootcut i owned that is Zatiny 72L in 26x30.And they fit me very tight at thighs,i love it.Do you guys think can i go with Zathan 71J in 26x30?and they will give me tight fit likes my Zatiny 72L?thanks for helping.

^yea they will...Zatiny and Zathan have the same thigh fit...the 72L is NOTORIOUSLY stretchy so I think your Zathan 71J (known to stretch a lot too) should fit about the same...

^^I have a 30x32 71J and a 29x32 72L and from my experience a stretched 71J 29x32 would be perfect...so yea 26 will work perfect for you...

^IMO I am liking Troulegs a lot more right now and the 8BI is a very interesting wash so I'd say hit up the Trouleg...it may also be hard for you to find a 26x30 71J with a good wash...

i just saw benny's selling zathan 71j 26x30 lab 330.but i'm sitting on the fence between trouleg 8bi and 71J.actually i like the wash 8bi and the nice back pockets on Trouleg 8bi.i just wonder about the troulrg fit.because i know trouleg runs big and long.

Kubie...I think a friend of mine picked up Benny's 71Js...Troulegs run 2" too long...I'm having some difficulty with my 8DK...I love the slimness, but the lenght the trumpet boot is a problem because it gets caught under my shoes so I have to fold it in the back...otherwise its ideal...

I don't know about the waist on 8BIs too much...I'd truly just start a new post if you're in between a Zathan 71J and a Trouleg 8BI because a few other members on here have way more experiences with Troulegs...I basically just have dealt with the 8DK (stretches like crazy...you'd probably need a 24w so thats out of the question)...
