well, keep this in mind:

it's one or the other.

people don't buy altered pairs on Ebay (well... I have but not most).

So only do it with the pairs you truly love, and don't have a Safado, Trouleg or Zatiny equal (especially if you have one), ie:

764, 60F, 82N, t08 etc. those pairs are totally worth surgery if you'll wear them a lot. 8AA - don't do it, just get a pair of Safado or 88Z in Zatiny, you'll never know the difference really. You probably get the idea.

It's really got to be a case of - I love these but feel silly in a big bootcut now vs - I like these, I bet I'll like them more if I get the altered. Fine line really.

I had no trouble selling my hacked Diesels on ebay, they just went for a bit less. Mind you they were rare pairs, so what you said is on point robness

I still have my T08s, 784s, 71J, 82N, Clerby 82Ls ect

Bringing in your favorite cut as a template is an excellent idea, I did the same thing when I took my pairs in to get done and the fit is identical

Zathans are the best. I agree with ja tan. I am also a late bloomer to the Diesel Zathan awesomeness. I had a pair of 772's back in '03 and now I just bought a pair of 784's, a pair of destroyed 772's and a pair of 71S's. I fell in love all over again with this company. I love that there is a forum tread dedicated to them.

I want a pair of 764's in a 33 x 32 if anybody has any.

These are my 8IK Zathans in a 34 x 34. Anybody want them they are brand new. I ordered them but they are too big for me. The denim is so nice and heavy. BNWT. Trade possibly?

those are the 708 space release, from 2004 SS I believe. They also put out a white version where the embroidery stood out much more

as zathan are bootcut
and thanaz are (very, very lightly) tapered

I was just waiting for someone to jump in and say that lol

that's an old debate here, I know
but technically, I measured all thanaz of mine
and they're always 0.5cm/1cm wider at knee than they are at leg opening

very, very, very lightly tapered (almost straight leg), surely not trying to be these



...but still tapered

This Zathan 708 was released in 2005/SS, I bought it on 2005 April....
