Some Details on New S/S 10 Denim

As was mentioned, poiak is coming in three new washes including the wash 8AO (which is coming on a lot of cuts) looks like it's going to be kind of like a black 8AA. The best looking of the Poiak washes looks to be 8C0 which looks like a darker blue denim with similar flame effects as the 8sv but without the golden brush and there is no green tint.

The new skinny cut that was already talked about is called "Tazy" but the washes that are coming this season are kind of plain one of them is 8A0

There is a new cut coming that is basically Diesel's answer to True Religions, it's a slim fitting, small bootcut with flap back pockets called Rusy or Ruzy (i can' flipping remember). If you're into that look, it's a good cut.

Zhav is the answer to all the people who miss the Zaf.....all 4 of you.

Thanaz is getting 5 washes, but they are either very plain or just straight out nuts, nothing that looks close to the quality of 8ww, 73j etc, though.

Krooley is coming to the US but it's a in a plain single rinse wash.

Safado is being made in the 8YM wash (probably what i'm most excited about)

Zatiny's are getting a decent amount of washes as usual, Zathan is STILL around with 2-3 washes.

Definitely some stuff to be excited about, the Poiak's look really good, basically every wash starts with an 8 this season, which I found to be kind of funny. I think the 8C0 is going to be one of the Diesel 'DNA" (read 772, 796, 71j, 8sv) washes this season.

Ruky
Krooley plain? That back pocket is far from plain. The wash yes but the other details no.
Im guessing there are more than 4 zaf fans ( hope so) or else Diesel wouldn't introduce Zhav in multiple washes. I'm sure tampa is really fashion forward but I bet you sell a few zhavs.
Hopefully the Rukys are appealing to all the customers of that new TR store.

i'm sure you know tampa is the one of the least fashion forward cities around, zhavs and ruky will do great here.

if you still work there... I read you have a full time now, not sure where though

safado 8YM sounds interesting and I'm curious to see new thanaz washes and those new Tazy's

My fingers are crossed for some blank back pocketed thanaz.

I hope diesel doesn't continue the trend of putting textual slogans on their jeans

that's a good point

I'd add that they should stop the trend of unuseful and tacky washes, too

Ha ha. It's increasingly annoying to see people assume that b/c flare/bootcut is no longer "in style," that they are disgusting or that all people should go with what is in style, regardless of how it looks on them.

Yeah, I'm not with that sheep mentality. I wear what I like and what looks good on me. Flare/bootcut looks good on me. Skinny/straight/tapered, not so much. I wish it did, b/c I've seen some great fits and I like the look when it works, but it just doesn't fly on my body or go with my style.

[end rant]

Anyway, thanks for the info. As far as the actual Zhav cut, is it more Zaghor or more Zaf (or Koffha). For me there's a world of difference between the two. In that Zaghor is, IMO, more of a bootcut (NOT a Zaf replacement).

Again I'm with you. Zaf, Zaghor and Koffhas are different. Zaghor more loose than Zaf. Koffhas more low rise than Zafs
