APC NC vs Diesel Thanaz

hey i was wondering if i wear 31 in diesel thanaz what shold i get for APC nc? 29? or 28?

I sized down 1-2 from my Diesel size for APC NC

did sizing down 1 or 2 give you the same look as your diesels?

Hmm... depending on how tight you like your jeans, I might size down as far as 28.

I am also a size 31 in diesel thanaz, and I easily fit into a 29 in APC Petit Standard, which is skinnier than the NC. Although if you are tall, a 28 might not be long enough.


Just my 2 cents...

did your petite standard stretch out to about your diesel thanaz 31?

Petit standard is a straight leg skinny jean, while new cures are tapered skinny. I would not say that PS is skinnier than NC. APC refers to NC as their skinniest cut. PS is essentially just a slimmer version of NS. You should be able to get a proper fit by sizing them both (PS and NC) the same, though.

I normally wear a 27 or 28 in Diesels (safado, zathan, I've tried on thanaz) and got a proper fit with a 26 in NC. They were really, really tight when I first got them (could only button up 2 of the 3 buttons). Had to sleep in them a few days and eventually wet stretched the waistband to get them to fit more comfortably, but they have since stretched and fit nicely.

My NC when I first received them were 13" in the waist (about 14" if I laid aligned them and pulled with my thumbs). They are now about 15.5" with waist aligned... so they've stretched approximately 3" total. Pretty much all my jeans are 15.5" in the waist if that helps (so yes, they stretched out properly to fit like the rest of my other jeans).

I wear 29 in Diesel and could fit in 28 in some washes, but mostly 29 is ok. 28 NC was way too small and 29 even in limits if it's too tight and skinny. It took 2 weeks + one cold soak to get top two buttons closed on NC 29. NC is really tight around legs and have more space at bottom.

i sticked with my diesel size for apc and the apc's are tighter at the waist. They are stiffer too. once you break them in (several months) they should fit similar. I say stick to the same size.

Hey guys I never tried on apc petite standards. If I wear a 26X30 in thanaz what size should I get in APC PS? and also do they always come in the same inseam length or can I get it cut at a specific store?

They will come with a standard inseam length depending on size. With the size you would probably wear (I'm guessing it would be a 25) the inseam will probably be around 32" to 32.5"

You can always get it hemmed shorter if you really want to, but it won't come any longer than that.
